iPhone SDK Tutorial: Custom Tab Bar

Hi I tried this example it is working in xcode 4.0.2 but not working in 4.2. why is this?

I commented out your interface and it ran fine. also 480 for the width? It ran, don't get me wrong, you have a good tutorial. Just, might wanna double-check those

Do the gradient the other way: Blue to black. That will make it look like its bulging out like a button instead of looked pressed in.
