JUST MISSED!!! "Let's Lock The Door" just missed making the Billboard's Hot Top 10 chart; it peaked at No. 11 and spent a total of 10 weeks in the Hot Top 100 in 1964/65, it entered the charts on December 26th, 1964... {And throw away the key}
This is what music was really about. Great voices, tremendous harmonies, and of course the strongest most talented male voice of the 60's Jay Black. They really put on a dynamic show and the crowd response to them was overwhelming. I have not seen or heard a group with their vocal abilities since.
American rock n roll at it's best!

At the beginning, "We met at a party" is one of the strongest male vocals of any time.
For females, "The B52s" Roam, singing "Boy, Mercury, shooting thru every degree is one of the strongest.
Just my opinion.
