very vivid...i am drawn to these tragic stories, perhaps because these tragedies are such a part of all our journy...Appreciate the whirl of YourPen and sweetness of YouSong. i was summoned earlier today to seek out some of YouSongs...so glad i listened:)
Duncan, my friend. As with everything you write, I am impressed and inspiried.
I wonder how many of our people truly understand how long the Mother Country stood alone, an unyeilding bulwark against that horrible tide, the bravery that was required and the cost that was paid. And if not for your forebears everything would have been lost.
Thank you very much Tom for such a great comment. Indeed, it is a humbling thought to think that my grand parents and great grandparents were among the brave host who helped protect the liberty of all who live today, we owe a great debt. Thanks again, take care my friend;
Ah, now we are getting the deeper Duncan :o) Seriously, this is a very moving song. It is also as relevant now as it would have been for 1939. You will have to fill me in on the inspiration on this one. Talk to you again in just a bit. -Ron
It's me again,you must be bored with all my comments,anyway I love this song you did a great job and I think about my father that in 1939 he was acutally 5 years old. Thanks for your songs. Peace
Well . .this is quite simply a beautifully crafted song, beautifully performed. Love the tinkling piano, which sounds really 'wintry'. A terrific story, too. 5* _Stu-
