I got one and the illusion actually only works when filmed by camera. You can't see it in reality. You only see folded paper, nothing is moving. It's a shame, really.

A camera only has one eye. Think about it. The reason why you can still tell what the shape is when you have two eyes open is because you have your depth perception with two eyes open. Cameras can't catch things with depth perspective. That's how it works.

WHat happens is the face isnt sticking out...its pushed in... and your brain sees something that appears to be sticking out...

Very good illusion, but not enough to trick. This show how the human brain interprets things in a common way. If you look closely and into one point, you can see clearly the hollow zones and the illusion. I first got tricked, but then realized that the shadows and positions didn't matched, so I saw the real thing. Very good effect to trick human eyes.
