Hi my name is Alan. I have been medal detecting for quite some time and I know a little bit about coins. If you are showing me the actual picture of the quarter on the back is stamped inward not outward, I noticed it right away! This quarter is worth a lot of money! Hope you didn't get rid of it, I had a 1916 S quarter and I sold it for 50 bucks found out it was worth $2,000! Opps my mistake.

the standing liberty with stars under the eagle was minted from 1917 thru 1924 and is valued anywhere from $15 to$32,500 depending on date.

I've looked all over the NET and can't find an answer about when STERLING was stopped being stamped on Silver items. As 925 is used now. Anyone have an answer?

Its A Letter B not an R the forward front leg of the Letter would be forward for a letter R, hope this Helps,
