Hey, im 13 and ive been making beats for about 3 months now. I just wanted to know if you took piano lessons. I was thinking about getting some but im not sure if I should learn to play the piano from the top or just ask the teacher to teach me stuff like chords, progressions, scales... I would apreciate input from anybody. Thanks in advance. Peace
It would be a very good idea if you learned to play the keyboard. I played the sax when I was 15, guitar, bass, drums, and i just started to play the keyboard. Try and focus on one instrument and when you are comfortable with that, pick up another.
also, how do you go about starting your own production company, becuase it's something I want to do one day once I get good a producing and want to take it to the next level.

You're right, I have been wanting to do this since I was 14. I'm also 30 years old with a college degree and a great job that allows me to pay for all of this music stuff. Make sure you stay in school and get your education, because this music thing isn't guaranteed!!
