AWESOME! I love Carl Sagan's "Cosmos!" I can't believe 134 people disliked this. Must be narrow-minded, brainwashed religious zombies and people who lack any intelligence. My grandfather is in his 70's, and so is my grandmother, and they aren't the sweet kind, their the rich, smug kind, who think they know everything and are better than everyone else, because they think they are these "Super Christians." My grandparents ACTUALLY BELIEVE that the Earth is only a few thousand years old! LOL!

This series was first broadcast in 1980, so well before the removal of Pluto's planetary status.

The show is still really good though, scientific updates notwithstanding. Sagan deals with quite a few philosophical and biological conundrums, as well as going back in history to look at the people who started those sciences, too. Highly recommended :D

Cosmos tended to cover the big ideas and concepts in science, which have been pretty robust for several decades, as opposed to the little details which are constantly changing - like Pluto's status. There are a few things out of date, and a lot of information we've learned since then feels missing, but even so the most dated thing about Cosmos is still Carl Sagan's turtlenecks. :)
