@taiyebakamal One daughter is illegitimate and was given up for adoption. When that girl (Neetu Singh) grows up she finds out that she is adopted and tracks down her birth mother (Waheeda Rehman). The birth mother is very happy to see her but because her husband (Amitabh Bachchan) and other daughter (Nazneen) don't know about the illegitimate daughter, she has to hide the truth. So even though Waheeda is actually singing about Neetu Singh she is pretending to adore only Nazneen.
