jackass, in the movie daniel only had a summer to train, the fight choreographer Pat Johnson, a black belt in karate and who trained with Bruce Lee, wanted Daniel's karate to look unpolished, defensive yet effective which certain karate styles are, it couldn't look like cobra kai karate otherwise there's no contrast film-wise, so instead of criticizing, you should just stick with the jaden smith version for your tiny mind
