I'm white and live in these Americas too! RAM, FORD and CHEVY are all made from interchangeable parts from the same plants. and same steel from that same foundry. The same plastic and leather from the same oversea's plants. The only difference is the power plant!
I'd take a Cummins over the rest any dam day brother in a stick-shift! Yeeeeehaaaaa...!!!
mite consider one in the future but not til theyre reliable and proven.. hear they have trans and elec issues but my 3500 ram 6.7 is the best out theyre
They called it Scorpion as a secret code name until secured (paid for) the Powerstroke name from I/H Case. And the 6.7 is the first good Powerstroke to come from the factory since the 7.3 powerstroke way back in 03.
How can you possibly say the torqueshift sucks?? It allows the motor to maintain all of it's boost between shifts. With a manual you lose it all as soon as you lift off of the throttle. I say it's a fantastic transmission.
you idiots!! could you explain what is the point of this patetic, lame and stupid video; i mean you put this truck ona dyno and you do not show any numbers, the video just stops. it's a shame that the truck didn't exploded and trow you people out of the earth surface
Yes you can get this truck in a standard shift. All the f-series trucks are offered in a standard shift. Except for the f-150 or at least I haven't seen one of those in a standard shift not recently anyways.
no its amercia made by ford it its called Powerstroke as were the others but in its prototype stages it was given a codename as with pretty much every project protoype they are give a codename usually but this engines codename was "scorpion" but its now called the "powerstroke"
@Leilani4u Mustang dynos read lower than all others, but are probably more accurate. All other dynos here in America tend to produce way higher #s than anywhere else in the world.
Ya well after having my 6.0 break the straps on the dyno that have held 1000+rwhp cars and come flying off the dyno I know im not going to be standing in front of it but you go on ahead
@yap350 i know, but those are the numbers people believe, not the actual that you will use. ppl are to ignorant to know that there is a 20 to 30, maybe more percent loss due to the transmission
@KLsemperFi7 The numbers that we see from the companies are done at the flywheel, this was done at the wheels, you lose 15 to 20% Torque through the drivetrain.
Thing sounds like it's whispering. Where's the turbo whistle at?

Yes I am handicapped because handicapped people don't know what they are talking about? He told me you can get it in any 2011 truck.
norfolkdash9 11 months ago
Looks to be in a limp mode due to the emissions system being removed. Most dyno numbers are close to 330hp at the wheels for a stock tune.

what do you have fooling codes being there is no DPF, on average these trucks do 310-320 whp bone stock, even a mustang dyno shouldnt read that low
Ihatenoobies 1 year ago
Not bad, but hell I'll keep my 7.3 that puts down 320hp 704tq to the wheels on a Mustang dyno. Can't afford the $62,000 price tag!

If only these engines were in an '80-'86 F-Series. These new plastic trucks are BUTT UGLY.
