  • Thing sounds like it's whispering. Where's the turbo whistle at?

  • not too familar with dyno's but if he was goin forward why would you strap the front down n not the rear? like in case it slipped off and took off

  • mite consider one in the future but not til theyre reliable and proven.. hear they have trans and elec issues but my 3500 ram 6.7 is the best out theyre

  • They called it Scorpion as a secret code name until secured (paid for) the Powerstroke name from I/H Case. And the 6.7 is the first good Powerstroke to come from the factory since the 7.3 powerstroke way back in 03.

  • @jmac5058 Navistar isn't part of CNH.

  • ummm where was the turbo whistle?

  • How can you possibly say the torqueshift sucks?? It allows the motor to maintain all of it's boost between shifts. With a manual you lose it all as soon as you lift off of the throttle. I say it's a fantastic transmission.

  • mirrors folded for extra aerodynamics nice

  • look at where that oil filter is located. How convenient to change.

  • you idiots!! could you explain what is the point of this patetic, lame and stupid video; i mean you put this truck ona dyno and you do not show any numbers, the video just stops. it's a shame that the truck didn't exploded and trow you people out of the earth surface

  • Yes you can get this truck in a standard shift. All the f-series trucks are offered in a standard shift. Except for the f-150 or at least I haven't seen one of those in a standard shift not recently anyways.

  • @norfolkdash9 are you handicapped? i am talking about the f250 and 350 dipnut

  • Looks to be in a limp mode due to the emissions system being removed. Most dyno numbers are close to 330hp at the wheels for a stock tune.

  • @bebac2006

Ha well I was on the website "building a truck" and there was no option for a manuel transmission but who knows.

  • Can you get a manuel shift version of this truck?

  • @norfolkdash9 short answer...no

  • @cb7pwn

    How come?

  • @norfolkdash9 what do you mean how come? because the company doesnt make one...

  • @psd4L1FE

    How do you know?

  • @norfolkdash9 no, you can only get the TorqShit tranny

  • @arnoldt14

    That's fucking gay!

  • @arnoldt14 yah man that tranny is a torqshit its sucks my dad has one

  • @norfolkdash9 not stock

  • @norfolkdash9

no you can't, 2010 was the last year for a manual transmission in Ford, Dodge is the only mfg. that makes diesel trucks with manual transmissions.

  • @Rabiesthecat

    That's so gay!

  • results?

  • good thing you put straps at the front , just in case you test it in reverse

  • @yagsisiht99 stupid if ya only strap the back where is the truck gunna go get pulled back.. lol i almost fell out of my chair hahahha

  • what does this mean Scorpion diesel? i thought it was a powerstroke?

  • @chinchillawrangler

"Scorpion" was is codename for the prototype engines

  • @DieselDemon18 so scorpion is like the australian maker's name?...or european or wherever else they're made... >.<

  • @DUSHANMANGRUE

no its amercia made by ford it its called Powerstroke as were the others but in its prototype stages it was given a codename as with pretty much every project protoype they are give a codename usually but this engines codename was "scorpion" but its now called the "powerstroke"

  • @DieselDemon18 sweet, i learned something

  • Comment removed

  • @BADprid3 this engine is still called powerstroke but its made by ford now instead of international, which is a good thing.

  • @NissanTy ah. ty for info :)

  • LAME Video! Matches the exhaust.

  • junk they advertise way more than what it really makes. Ford needs to put cummins in

  • @tserfass9 hey dumbass all of the big 3 do it .

  • @tserfass9 rwhp is allways less than at the fly and thats where they measure it to advertise

  • It sounds a bit like a diesel Mercedes now... not as loud as it should be, but you can't argue with the performance!

  • @bebac2006 thats a good way to narrow down your choices :p

  • what do you have fooling codes being there is no DPF, on average these trucks do 310-320 whp bone stock, even a mustang dyno shouldnt read that low

  • Not bad, but hell I'll keep my 7.3 that puts down 320hp 704tq to the wheels on a Mustang dyno. Can't afford the $62,000 price tag!

  • If only these engines were in an '80-'86 F-Series. These new plastic trucks are BUTT UGLY.

  • Why dyno on a Mustang Dyno?

  • @Leilani4u Mustang dynos read lower than all others, but are probably more accurate. All other dynos here in America tend to produce way higher #s than anywhere else in the world.

  • where is ur exhaust ran to?

  • always a good idea to stand infront of a truck on a dyno..

  • @dave360dave he should have another guy filming him at the same time just in case lol

  • @dave360dave Seriously? If you take the proper precautions you can stand anywhere you want.

  • @DieselTruckin theres alot of videos of cars, trucks coming off on dynos you can stand were you want but i know were i will be.

  • @DieselTruckin

Ya well after having my 6.0 break the straps on the dyno that have held 1000+rwhp cars and come flying off the dyno I know im not going to be standing in front of it but you go on ahead

  • @dave360dave Let's hope it was on Reverse... he can't be that dumb!

  • @dave360dave its even better if you lay down in front of it to see the exhaust!

  • those no. arn't accurate

  • Yea, sorry, if the dyno operator doesn't know what he is doing,, your screwed.

Doesn't sound like they knew what they were doing IMHO...

If the dyno was not a Load dyno,, it's useless.

  • Lol, dumb blonds

  • mustang dynos arnt good for measuring power on a diesel because of torq

  • its because its on a mustang dyno...did you load the dyno at all?

  • A buddy of mine did 301hp and 610lb/tq all stock

  • ouch.....only 267???

  • Stock run on Mustang dyno MD600 267hp and 615lb/tq no DPF

  • @bebac2006 so so much for the 390 horsepower bullshit, torgue still like last years model, 6.4 made just as much

  • @KLsemperFi7 the 390 hp numbers is at the crankshaft, this is at the rear wheels

  • @yap350 i know, but those are the numbers people believe, not the actual that you will use. ppl are to ignorant to know that there is a 20 to 30, maybe more percent loss due to the transmission

  • @KLsemperFi7 The numbers that we see from the companies are done at the flywheel, this was done at the wheels, you lose 15 to 20% Torque through the drivetrain.

  • @bebac2006 thats sad

  • @bebac2006

a stock 6.4 will do more than that.... somethins not addin up

  • Don't forget a mustang dyno will report lower numbers.

  • @bebac2006 Despite these being numbers at the wheels they still seem rather low. What does a stock late 99 and up 7.3 powerstroke make on this dyno?

  • yeah what did it make?

  • So, what are the results?
