I cannot believe that people think this is cute or hilarious. This poor little hamster has a genetic defect (backflipper) that makes him act like this. Hope he found a good home.
@CTLloydBanks es geht ihr viel besser, ich war beim tierarzt und musste ihr 6 tage lang so zeug aus einer spritze verabreichen. danach waren die symptome zum glück so gut wie vollkommen weg. manchmal hält sie nur noch den kopf schief und hat gleichgewichtsstörungen.
aber die krankheit kann jederzeit wieder ausbrechen, man kann sie nie ganz heilen. *sfz*

Wie gesagt, wird mir bei dem Käfig schlecht, aber es ist nciht der grund für das Flipping. Das Flipping ist ein angeborener Genfehlner, wie gesagt durch "Kinderzimmerverpaarung", vergleichbar als wenn jemand Ratte und Maus verpaart - schon mal drann gedacht, dass da vl. Störungen auftreten könnten??

The circling is probably also part of the neurological disorder. Hamster like this can die from the disorder because they can't stop long enough to eat properly.
it's a hybrid, so 2 kinds of hamster get an hamsterbaby, the hamsterbaby is a hybrid and do backflips or something. and the cage is too small, i want to put this laughing guys into this cage!! =(
FYI: the "backflips" you see the hamster doing is caused by a neurological disorder. Although, I agree that the cage is a little small and could stand to have an running wheel, that's not the cause for his condition. Unfortunately, cramped living quarters are common in pet stores. The solution? Buy from small stores that house & care for their animals properly, not the huge chain stores.
Utterly horrible! They need much much more space and a wheel for excersize. Just because they are small does not mean they can live in those conditions.
I feel badly for the hamster running around like that, but it is funny to see them jumping around. I think also the stress of the store noise, etc. makes them do that, poor things. My beloved baby that we lost a few months ago, would do that when she was in her travel cage. She had everything but the wheel in that. Odd, but she would roll over her toilet paper roll. Silly thang. ;) My hamsters always live way long lives. I adore them!But then they had everything in their regular cage.
i have 3 hamsters and they all have 2 wheels....sure they're spoiled, but at least they're healthy. it's not healthy to have a hamster in a cage that small

I have had three hamsters in my life and everytime they had a midium cage (they were not big hamsters) and a wheel A PEICE. RESEARCH IF YOU ARE GOING TO KEEP A HAMSTER!!!
Like I said in a previous post, they do this because they are BORED. If you have a pet at least be responsible enough to get it a big enough cage and do some research on it. If you knew enough about hamsters, you would know that it is BORED! This makes me really sad.
That's not at all funny. That poor little hamster is doing back flips bc he is kept in such a small space and more importantly WITHOUT A WHEEL! A wheel is not a luxury, a wheel is a NEED. Hamsters can become paralyzed without one. I feel for that poor little thing. If I had been at that pet store the manager would have gotten a peice of my mind!

Silly thang. ;) My hamsters always live way long lives. I adore them!But then they had everything in their regular cage.

i have 3 hamsters and they all have 2 wheels....sure they're spoiled, but at least they're healthy. it's not healthy to have a hamster in a cage that small

Omg, poor thing! Hilarious.... Yeah right! I have a hamster, and he has got THREE different wheels! I know you might think spoilt, but... That is just cruel to keep it in such a small cage! I totally agree with you guys.

That poor hamster. I am with alicia110184 and Helenx0x0 that poor little hamster needed a wheel and some toys evern the little hamsters in the tiniest pet stores have at least one wheel. I have had three hamsters in my life and everytime they had a midium cage (they were not big hamsters) and a wheel A PEICE. RESEARCH IF YOU ARE GOING TO KEEP A HAMSTER!!!

Like I said in a previous post, they do this because they are BORED. If you have a pet at least be responsible enough to get it a big enough cage and do some research on it. If you knew enough about hamsters, you would know that it is BORED! This makes me really sad.

That's not at all funny. That poor little hamster is doing back flips bc he is kept in such a small space and more importantly WITHOUT A WHEEL! A wheel is not a luxury, a wheel is a NEED. Hamsters can become paralyzed without one. I feel for that poor little thing. If I had been at that pet store the manager would have gotten a peice of my mind!
