last time i checked tarsan97 only bout 1% of Americans actually bother to play banjo. schools here offer wood winds, brass, orchestra string instrument, classical and bass guitars. not banjos. so this teaches us nothing.
If this guy could do all that by playing "Scruggs Style" then I'd be impressed. He's just doing a little speed picking like any rock guitarist would. Anyone ever seen Nuno Bettancourt who used to play for the rock group "Extreme"? Nuff said.

You're an ignorant moron. Scruggs played 5 string with claws. Also, different music, different style, different tuning. This is flat pick playing on a four string jazz banjo.
There are very few guitarists in the world who can even come fairly close to playing like this. He plays essentially a continuous tremolo with a flat pick. "Fast" guitarists cheat; play with three fingers, picking style, amplified up with electronic crap.
Well, GOOD guitarists [there are some :) ]could play that, and the electronics are just for tone. And yeah thats a lot faster left hand than 5strings and right hand than most mandolin players.
