@ddbbzz The Keystation has no sound of its own. I use it to get 88 keys of sound from a five octave old MIDI keyboard. It is excellent for its portability. It never needs tuning. A regular piano is a wonderful but not portable instrument that needs maintenance quite often. Thanks.
thanks! i have been playing jazz piano only for 4 or 5 months so getting past vince guarldi stuff for christmas is tough, but you made this way easier. thanks.
Cheers dude, this really helped. You seem like an incredible piannist. I'm absolutely crap, and with your teaching I could play it adequately well! Again, Thanks.
Thanks. Now is a good time to learn the holiday songs. Some people have mentioned I sound like Willie sometimes. He is a lot better than myself. Thanks again.
Most turtorials on keyboards usually have their hands covering up the key and it's a completely pointless video, but you're the first to take learners like myself into consideration. So thanks alot!
I commented on another video of yours calling you a hero lol i think it was the porn song. Your lesson is really good I've been playing guitar for 17 years and now I'm getting into piano and this came in so handy! hehe thanks for the lessons!
Well, it won't be long now till the end of the year, and another birthday for me. It sure flew by, and that song is always sad for me. Makes me really stop and think about things that have went on in the year. Good job.
Hi, The keyboard you see is an M-Audio Keystation 88ES which has no sound card or speakers. It is MIDI connected to an old Yamaha DJX which supplies the voice.
Hi, Thanks, Alex. For anyone who has not yet visited DrummerBoy99 I recommend checking his videos. He not only is a great drummer, but he has a wonderful tribute to Freddie Mercury and some fun vids too. Maybe I can get DrummerBoy99 to help me with Tutorial #100 sometime in 2008.
Thanks Tom. Happy New Year to you!

question.... Isn't it "Should old acquaintance" not "Let old acquaintance" ? I will be on mic... I don't want to get it wrong.... please help!!!!!
DocDawg79 1 year ago
@DocDawg79 I researched it a bit and it appears "should" is correct. I have always sung "let" so I have done it wrong for many years. Thanks.
