  • Thanks Tom. Happy New Year to you!

  • @markrad4 Thank you and a Happy 2012 to you.

  • YOU'RE A GREAT SINGER. SO NICE VOICE

  • @celesteobias Thank you so much.

  • How do you like the keystation 88es,how does it compare to a traditional piano?

  • @ddbbzz The Keystation has no sound of its own. I use it to get 88 keys of sound from a five octave old MIDI keyboard. It is excellent for its portability. It never needs tuning. A regular piano is a wonderful but not portable instrument that needs maintenance quite often. Thanks.

  • question.... Isn't it "Should old acquaintance" not "Let old acquaintance" ? I will be on mic... I don't want to get it wrong.... please help!!!!!

  • @DocDawg79 I researched it a bit and it appears "should" is correct. I have always sung "let" so I have done it wrong for many years. Thanks.

  • @Featureman Always a class act... Thank you so much!

  • Im Scottish, so better learn this for Hogmanay,Thanks !!!

  • We are great because we see further than other men,

    not by our own height,

but by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Thank You sir for these enlightening tutorials

  • Thank you very much.

  • you kinda play weird... no offense...

Cool... I'm 11 and I played this at my Church just last night!

  • Thanks. Enjoy playing music forever.

  • Cheers dude, this really helped. You seem like an incredible piannist. I'm absolutely crap, and with your teaching I could play it adequately well! Again, Thanks.

  • Keep playing and practicing. You will be better than I am soon. Thanks.

  • you sound kinda like willie nelson here! i mean that as a compliment- you're a talented musician

  • Thanks. I did get to work with Willie one time when I was a movie extra. I worked in Electric Horseman. Willie was nice to talk with.

  • THANKS FOR SHOWING IT. I THINK I'LL HAVE IT MASTERED BY THE END OF THIS YEAR...JUST STARTED PLAYING PIANO 8 MOS AGO......

    OLD GUY.

yOU SOUND LIKE wILLIE nELSON...ANYBODY TELL YOU?

  • Thanks. Now is a good time to learn the holiday songs. Some people have mentioned I sound like Willie sometimes. He is a lot better than myself. Thanks again.

  • Thanks alot for the position of hands!!!

Most turtorials on keyboards usually have their hands covering up the key and it's a completely pointless video, but you're the first to take learners like myself into consideration. So thanks alot!

  • Thanks for the nice comment. I always find myself looking over the shoulders of piano players.

  • You sound very Country, and I like that. I love County Music.

And this song, this song is one of the best in the World.

You sang is very nicely! Well done.

    Thanks for the video,

    K.

  • Thank you very much.

  • This song was written by my great great great uncle.

  • It is a song that will live on for generations to come. Congratulations.

  • I commented on another video of yours calling you a hero lol i think it was the porn song. Your lesson is really good I've been playing guitar for 17 years and now I'm getting into piano and this came in so handy! hehe thanks for the lessons!

    Greetings from Argentina

  • Thanks very much! Man, I love countrymusic and you really have the voice of a countrymusic singer, beautiful!

  • Thank you very much.

  • auld lang syne is far from being country it is a scotish traditional song

  • im sorry but can you just show us how to play the song i dont need all this information

  • Well, it won't be long now till the end of the year, and another birthday for me. It sure flew by, and that song is always sad for me. Makes me really stop and think about things that have went on in the year. Good job.

  • Very good. I'm wondering what make and model keyboard you are using?

  • Hi, The keyboard you see is an M-Audio Keystation 88ES which has no sound card or speakers. It is MIDI connected to an old Yamaha DJX which supplies the voice.

  • Hi, Thanks, Alex. For anyone who has not yet visited DrummerBoy99 I recommend checking his videos. He not only is a great drummer, but he has a wonderful tribute to Freddie Mercury and some fun vids too. Maybe I can get DrummerBoy99 to help me with Tutorial #100 sometime in 2008.

  • WOW ~ THAT WAS DELIGHTFUL.
