she has a beautiful voice, and great interpreter, but i would like to add that the song is so beautiful, so glorious, and unfortunately, composers dont come like that anymore i m afraid, its sad, cest la vie!!!
@danielbertolone ~ The song was nominated for a 1949 Academy Award; it was the title tune of a superb Susan Hayward movie, for which she was also nominated. These days, they should get rid of the song category; I've never heard of any of the songs that now get nominated.
she has a beautiful voice, and great interpretation, but i would like to add that this song, this composition is absolutyely glorious, such a fine composition, and composers dont come like that anymore baby, cest la vie!!!
Leslie Gore is 11 months older than I am. I graduated from Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe Springs, California on June 16, 1965. Leslie made those years from 1963-1965 so much more fun; her voice will always remind me of another time & place, a happier time and a better place, really. Long live Leslie Gore.
what an angelic voice singing a melodic tune;
accompanied by a full sound of a fine orchestra:
very nice !!
