  • Prob the first person I've seen on YouTube wearing that holster in the correct position. Every other vid I see the guy has it down by his knees which is incorrect!

  • This is the 6004 if I'm not mistaken? I absolutely love this holster. I have a TLR-1 on my Glock and would recommend this. Even though it is a level II, I would suggest the II+ with the hood.

  • im gonna make a question that is gonna sound stupid, but i need a serious answer: what is the "telephone" wire for????

  • @BadAssEngineering

People use a retention cord, so that if they get overexcited and drop their pistol when they holster it in the heat of things, they won't lose it. You can also use it in every day carry to prevent people from lifting your piece.

  • First time I see that holster worn the correct way. Most dudes wear it by their knee like an old west gun slinger.

  • nice .45 pistol holster

  • What kinda gloves is he using? :)

  • What type of gloves are you using? And do you like them?

  • you r kinda cute

  • Nice holster guy.

  • do you know where i can buy a drop leg holster that can fit glock 19 with surefire x400 on right hand side ? Thank you

  • @Vietboy1st Try opticsplanet(dot)com, the Safariland 6004-2830-551 should suffice.

  • what retention lanyard are you using? and where can i get one of those holsters? do you know if the make then for a USP match?

  • @pootinhammer

Prolly the Gemtech lanyard, Safariland holster

  • unpractical gun holster

seems pretty stupid to me but

    its my opinion

  • @TheSlevaslava Why is that? I enjoy the safariland 6004, mines setup for a strap down midride, and its on par with my serpa.

  • @Crich775

    i guess its cool man

  • Where can i purchase one of these holsters? I cant find a duty holster for my 1911 anywhere. What brand is it ? Safariland is what it looks like.

  • it is, their kit can be a bit expensive, but everything I own or have used has been brilliant.

  • @CVFD1247 I suggest downloading the 2010 order guide from SL and then call their customer care #. Tell them what you want w/ what model light you're running. It takes about 18 days for production. I would avoid third party distributors as they will still have to place an order with SL. I have a 6005 drop leg for my XDM w/TLR-1. It is an outstanding holster.

  • We are issued a triple retention version of this rig at work. It is a quality product, but like most drop leg rigs it tends to move around too much in field conditions/duty carry or when you have running or crawling to do.

  • gud gun ;) n i hav that holster in black but without the "paddle" or watev its called so it sumtimes flops around lol but it works RELE gud n i got it for free so you cant beat that!! :)

  • hey you know what kind of works for wind is to double tape the mic on the cam .i did that on mine and it blocked about 80% of wind noise

  • the holster is a safariland, model 6005. its a good holster. they have improved them with the ALS, like the 6304 if you are looking for a weapon mounted light platform.

  • Brand?

  • blackhawk is the brand

  • not blackhawk

  • Nice shot(s)... not sure how much I like the holster.

  • what he thinks of that lease he is using..cause not sure about them..but looks like a great idea..aww thats to bad about the wind..good vid thiugh

  • that guy need to learn how to draw out of that holster if hes going to be your model! talk about a two stage draw!

  • Perhaps you should check yourself..

When / where did we claim this was a "how to quick draw" video ??

We were talking about various methods, and he was describing a guy with short thumbs who was in a class with him recently and how he managed to do the draw in two steps.. It's possible that is what you saw

  • whoa, i did not mean for you to take offense! maybe i should have stated a little more than a quick comment. first of all, i really like your videos. they are really detailed and give a lot of info the time. second, by you comment im guessing this guy is an instructor of some sort? we also teach our people to use this type of holster and we teach to draw in one motion. i can see what you mean by small thumbs but i have taught females (and males) with very small hands to use a smooth draw

  • if someone is going to be carrying a weapon in a holster i am assuming they are ne of the "good guys". unfortunatley as a "good guy" you are always reacting to a threat so even teaching a two stage draw, in my humble opinion, is setting someone up for failure in a game where the stakes are very high! every fraction of a second counts. im sorry but i would respectfully have to disagree with him at that point! like i said, i hope you do not take offense. i think your videos are great.

  • No offense taken

And we are not instructing.. that is the point

I am not defending a position or even taking one for that matter

I am simply saying you are reading more about draw technique into this description of the holster than what is intended

  • 10-4. my bad

  • Thanks for the 'Wind Warning' turned my speakers down before it started =]

  • will this fit my Springer "operator" with streamlight trl1?

  • It looks like it would fall out while running (Have you tried running?) I perfer my Blackwater Paddle Holster w/ Holster Trigger retention lock.

  • The latch on top is a locking rentention too. If it's the safariland holster i'm thinking of. It's like the Blackhawk serpa but it's actuated by your thumb vs. trigger finger.

  • You forgot to mention in your warning that the lighting was awful and we could see the cameraman's shadow, the filming was shaky, the subject was ill-framed, there was too much crotch grabbing, the music used was crap and the spoken language was mostly indecipherable, and white lettering on coyote tan is so 1990's...

But seriously, I rofled at the "Warning" and I always enjoy your vids, WIND or no. Keep it up! Also, I need a 1911.

  • @watcher8o - Pffft!!! Looking at your "12:01AM: The line for COD:MW2 outside of GameStop in SW Tucson, AZ" Video you you look like Michael J Fox filming a circle jerk (while jerking off) during a earthquake and a typhoon!!!!

  • Um, ok? Excuse me for having a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system. Ass.

  • People... this was a joke. I've stated before that I appreciate these videos. I meant no offense.

  • @watcher8o - I said "look like" (I meant "you film like") Chill.... I'm joking with you

  • You hurt my feelings, dammit. All my films are a work of art, at least my mother thinks so. XD

  • @watcher8o - lol ; )

  • read the whole thing.. he's joking

    no offense taken

(although my eyes did roll back until I got to the end, LOL)

  • i didnt have the slightlest bit of trouble understanding the clear english they were speaking... and there isnt any music. O_o

  • There's music in the sighing of a reed;

    There's music in the gushing of a rill;

There's music in all things, if men had ears:

Their earth is but an echo of the spheres.

    ~Lord Byron

    LOL

  • cry about it.

    please.

  • SOUND !! FISX IT !! NICE HOLSTER..

  • very nice holster there. me likey
