Awesome movie. Missed some of it while hanging up laundry but it looked great though. It is based on a book by Brian Garfield which is a sequel to Death Wish which was also made into a movie as we know with CHarles Bronson. But i hate the rape scenes. They were just to awfully disturbing. Espcially the second one. Can't ever watch DW 2 again. ;'(

Just watched this on tv... what a joke, when bad guys don't swear; they'll kill, torture, maim, have sex with any ho they meet... but they won't cuss. Stupid censorship laws!!

Watching this again, for the second time, I realised how lame it is... just sad Hollywood lame!! Stupid gang rituals that would never be used by real people. Lame-ass cops... Hollywood doesn't have a clue about gangs, just make shit up and expect the sheeple to believe... ruined the movie.

But it is at least better than the Death Wish movies where Bronson seemed more and more emotionless by each film. At least Bacon didn't a better job playing a simple man. The message is vigilantism is wrong. Vengeance is a dirty business.

I'd like to thank you for not being an idiot. A lot of people think that the Duster is a Mustang. It makes me want to slam my head into my keyboard when I see that. Because Mustangs and Dusters don't really look a thing a like.

I love the Mustang SO much! Beautiful car! I love the fastbacks I want a black '68, but I would have taken this one in a heart beat. Ha, I a 19 year old girl and I show respect and love for the old clasic muscle cars. I want a '69 red and black chevelle.

If you're refering to Kevin Bacon, he did die. You see it right at the end after he's told about his son. His eye's close and he kind of slumps back. I suppose they could have save him but I doubt that, and even so he would have been dead for a time however short.

I just finished watching this movie 3:30 in the morning. Let me just say, this really moved me. A lot. I cried twice, I leaned forward in excitement, I felt the "film noir" and the dark "Max Payne" feel (especially when he started popping those pain killers hehe). I was very impressed with how they conveyed stress and emotion through the camera work. Some of the shots were long, like in the parking garage, and I really liked it. Kevin really pulled through on this movie. I'm so impressed.

The cops were stupid and useless. Early in the film, one bad guy gets hit and apparently killed by a speeding car and the shows up in the next scene, a day or so later, with only a band aid on his forehead. Kevin Bacon is beaten, shot, knifed, hositalized and almost dead, to the point that he can barely walk. Suddenly he is on his feet and able to beat hell out of several big guys half his age (what in the world did they give him in that hospital?).

This was a great film, I loved it a lot, James Wan is an amazing director and Garrett Hedlund is a very talented actor.

The song is In the House In a Heartbeat by John Murphy, it is playing in 28 Days later when Jim is going through the manor and sets the infected free, it is also played in the opening scene of 28 Weeks Later when Don is running from the infected.
