I never knew this tower to have ring of bells but I have walked past it after doing 30 floor climb in Guys hospital when down there.

They aren't a bad ring in terms of sound. Cornhill, certainly, but not Southwark. They sound good and have character. Just because it isn't a Simpson ring doesn't mean it's crud.

Thanks! Lol, thats not a long draft...but when you pull off on 12 you really do have to hold it up for aaaaages at the backstroke. Much more so than at other 12 bell towers cos its heavier than most.

@mjgriff74 Do NOT go to Cricklade if you don't like long draughts - 65 ft of rope, anti clockwise, plus you have to negotiate choir pews!! Great fun... NOT!!!
