the book is beautiful.a little different here and there but the movie is beautiful too.I do believe richard armitage is the magic ingredient.he takes my breath away!I always thought that no one could make me sleepless at night after clark gable and gone with the wind.But Richard Armitage and North and South has me up at night and obsessed during the day!!
