@stuntcc The I6 motor that came in the car is a very capable motor. Putting a V8 in a Supra may make it faster but if you ever want to sell the car you will lose a lot of resale value. The car is very rare as is.

It's nice that someone tries different egnines in different cars. I agree that the 2jz is maybe one of the best inline 6 ever made, but everybody use it, so why not try something new? :) I think this Supra is going to be a killer once he learn how to get traction to this beast

A perfect example of why you keep the 2JZ in the car. Less torque to that doesn't happen. It lies lown the perfect balence of Torque and Horsepower so that you rip down the track with minimal traction loss.
