@rogantu Outland har åpnet en ny butikk i oslo. Fem minutter å gå fra Oslo S. Der har de en egen avdeling får våpen, armour og kostymer for laiv. Bra kvalitet også :)

What most people forget when fighting is the fact the you can thrust at people, and they rarely know how to block if they slash alot with their weapons. Axes can be understood, because thrusting with a axe does little effect.

You are right, only the weapons we use are dangerous to thrust with, so as a safety precaution, no one is allowed to thrust with them during fights.

Thanks ^_^ Yeah i´ve done other things that people have been a little judgemental of, like gaming in general, theater, even martial arts (can´t understand why anybody can think that is a weird thing, though). But the important part is to have fun, no matter what others say. And be yourself (even if being yourself is having fun pretending to be someone else ^_^) There are lots of different larps, whether you want to hack´n´slash, go political or whatever´s your fancy. I reccomend trying it on ^_^

Thanks, man. We take measures to do it as safe as possible, both for us, and all new people who wants to try it out. Some gets the occasional bruising by diving to the ground, and people can get hit between the legs... but not often, and rarely on purpose ^_^

but imho you should use more the whole arm and not swing the weapon out of the hand (hope you know what I mean)

And in editing interest, you need a better ending ;)

Thanks man :) Yeah the use the whole arm thing is a constant problem when wielding latex weapons, but practice makes perfect. The ending is an inside joke about throat-cutting, but i'll try to make something more funky for my next one! Thanks for commenting ^^
