Great job on the battle scene, but a few details in Act 1 might lose the viewer. Devil is in the details. :-)
1. I understand the renegade thing, so lets put aside the fact that a Mormon missionary would NEVER go anywhere without his partner. But for the sake of the film... fine.
2. He would never have a cross nor pray to it.
3. His hair/facial hair was a little long for the look.
4. He would NEVER smoke. (Again I can understand the artistic value of it)
The swordweilding part, however, makes perfect sense...

we only offer love to our Jehovah Witness brothers and sisters. Not battle!
