I'd say they don't really sound like Zeppelin at all with this song. If anything, the main guitar lick is closer to Hendrix, but even that's a stretch. They're just mimicing what was done 30-40 years ago, excluding the piercingly high voice, unlike Robert Plant's bluesy mellow voice.

The similarity to Led Zepp is defenitly in the vocals. Andrew's voice is the most powerful voice we've seen in the last 20 years or so. The last guy i think with Axl Rose. But wolfmother is like a stoner rock version of led zepp.

I have the first album and love every song on it. The heavy songs, like "Pyramid" and "Dimension," are awesome, but for some reason I find myself drawn to the last song, "Vagabond." Maybe it's the lyrics.

i can't wait to hear some new material from wolfmother. i found a article that said they have planned to write a new album and be recording by autumn 2008. With the fan base they have now the release should be HUGE. i have never looked forward to an album to come out as much as i am for this one.
