At 0.45 the line starts “I think of her..” Paul incorrectly starts with ‘he’ or ‘she’. They smile and John sings louder to cover and then returns to normal volume on the next line. Great team work.
how on earth did they manage to stay in key without monitors? they are incredible. each place they sang at, probably had very different acoustics etc. they just handle it and sing their songs. just look at real singers butcher 'anthems' to know what a sound system or delay of an echo can do to your voice. The beatles are completely unmatched.
A lot of bands and performers made the girls scream and go crazy. The Beatles did that too, plus they did a lot of things that were different than any other musicians or pop stars. Their music channels the truth and the life. Go to TruthContest(dot)com, and on the main page of the contest, open The Present and read the section about The Beatles.
The Beatles themselves were like other men, but the music and lyrics channeled through them contained magic and messages from beyond the mind. Search Truth Contest in Google and click the 1st result, then open The Present and read the section about The Beatles. After reading this, you will be able to perceive the hidden messages in Beatles songs.
To hear the hidden messages in the Beatles’ music, you do not have to play the songs backwards like some people in the sixties thought; you just have to change your perspective, listen backwards. Go to TruthContest(dot)com, and on the main page of the contest, open The Present and read the section about The Beatles. If you like The Beatles, definitely check this out.
These four are so fun to watch. Paul's dancing around the stage, and bouncing as they're singing. Ringo's practicly dancing back there, and George gets so into his gutiar. What I wouldn't give to go back and see them in concert! Unfortunatley, I'm a ninties baby! XD
@xemily91 Yeah, too bad you missed all that great music. I was a little kid during The Beatles era, but I have vague memories of watching them on Ed Sullivan. My brother got the "Abbey Road" album for Christmas of '69 and I listened to it almost every day and really STUDIED the songs! At least I can say I was there, right??
@31wst: Definitely! I think I'm a 60s child in a nineteen year old's body. I'm so jealous of you and my parents getting to see them live (well....live on TV programs...)
@kpax45 imagine that .. a Beatles live recording where not only can you HEAR clearly recorded cymbals but they're dominating the recording. With the exception of some scandinavian radio performances.. this is probably about the best recorded and mixed of the Beatles live shows in their all too brief live career. Now maybe if the same band that played the Hollywood Bowl or the Palais Des Sports had shown up, this show would have been a legendary live album!
the starting line "what can I do?" sound unmistakable like "I'll (go) find some vodka" when interpreted by Russian listener. This song gained quite a popularity because of this (though it's a brilliant song on its own)
when they performed day tripper, i think that was their worst song in this performance. alot of cock ups then, but thats the fun of gigging right? they are still amazing live, especially after stuff like im down
This concert is in Japan at the Budakhan hall (normaly for Martial arts). This is their last tour just before they played their last show at Candlestick park in San Francisco. John Lennon said this was his favorite song to play live ! I have both shows on bootleg CD. Some Japanese protested this show because it was performed at a traditional Martial arts arena and theatened to commit suicide out in the streets !
Gosh I love these people SO MUCH. 1:22-1:24 , XD XD So so so so so incredibly adroable and hugable. 1:43-1:45, Paul's expression. lol 2:17-2:18, even George starts singing.. or mouthing the words. Its so cute!! lol Man, they're good. Its like they're acting at the same time as singing. I mean with the expressions and all. So multi-talented. XD lol Poor Ringo. i think he needs a hug.
wow, bigbeatlesfreak. O.O But its true, isn't it...? They must be angels... flawed in certain ways, but still so much more perfect than alot of people. Still exceptional human beings. God bless them forever.
i want a mix of john and ringos hair style

What is John doing at 2:08?
perfuzz 2 years ago
he plays a couple of notes in an odd way...chet atkins used to play that kind of notes with his thumb as well as jimi hendrix...
augusto909 2 years ago
playing the bass notes of the guitar over the top rather than underneath.
he's basically just a cheeky bastard. and he messes it up, because it takes him well out of time.
jamesjefferys 2 years ago
lol, when i play this song on guitar, I always do what he did, using my index finger, because it's hilarious.

No, they just were tuned down a half-step in this concert. Which means the instruments are a lower pitch
