The factory has now moved away from supplying these low volume 'Xtreme Track & Road 2' Seater specials.. I think they've left the information up on the websie as the car is a great showcase for the factories engineering abilities.

So a secondhand XTR2 makes a great purchase as they now have next to no depreciation. As where else can you get a £14k road car that blows away all the supercars on trackdays.

Not that I'm selling - before you ask :-)

I love this video, watched it so many times. I've done goodwood in a ferrari 360 and 911 rs but this is on a whole different level... Is it you driving? Do you own the xtr2?

How's the drivablility on the road? It seems like the bike clutch and stiff suspension would be rather bothersome when you're not going wide open.

The Clutch is fine for road driving, it is a little tricky doing standing starts, but with a little practice it's not an issue (keep left heal on the floor and maybe use 2nd gear).

As for the the suspension it's surprisingly compliant and the flat bottom of the car makes it far less vulnerable than Caterhams etc - which can easily rupture their sumps..

Sounds like the car need more gears. U can hear the engine have more to give, but it seem to stop, cause the gearbox don't have more to gears :)
