  • this video is 3 years old but id like the info for this place. im moving to cambodia soon. can they teach in english?

  • awesome, ty for the knowledge Boxkator is indeed an amazing art

  • this is the shiiiiiiiiiiiit

  • 0:07 that flying knee is scary was made to kill not no KO.

    =O

  • 好, I like dat!

  • i love this vid its explain where the raising of the knee came from ,seriously i think mauy thai copied the Khmer people ,but the question is how did the blood sport spread out to Laos Burma ,Malaysian and Thailand

  • Research Khmer Civilization and the Khmer Empire. Google it.

  • when you going to have more vids out

  • The original kingdom of Cambodia (Khmer Empire) encompassed what is now Cambodia, Laos and Thailand. Used to all be Cambodia, so you are most likely correct that Thai copied from Khmer. Maybe they have influence from other cultures as well in Muay Thai fighting style history.

  • Never mind who copied who. Nobody cares except those who are mere spectators. Real martial arts practitioners just enjoy the sport. Less talk, more action.

  • what about learning the true authentic stuff instead learning the water down stuff ,so would say you would enjoy learning tkd for starts

  • make more bokator vids

  • ahh make much better sense so i was walkin wrong in the monkey stance

  • im khmer i luv bokator

  • just out of curiosity, why did your the academy use the Thai word Khom for Khmer? Why don't they just use our mother language and called it Yuthakhun Khmer? Are the trainers Thai?

  • Khom is the ancient word for Khmer in the old Khmer language. My guess is that the Thai just adopted it and still use it. The trainers are 100% Khmer.

  • with the lack of evidence, i cannot accept this term. Why we call ourselves Khom, even in old Arabic record we were refer to as Khumar, and when it comes to our country, Kambudesha, Kambuja. But Khom, i think is just Thai broken ennuciation for the word Khmer, as Khumar is the broken arabic for Khmer.

  • LOL.. well in any case their is very little evidence to back up either claim, I'm Khmer and my family is Khmer and this is what my father past down to me, could be write could be wrong. Maybe you should write a paper on it or something. What is with all the Khumar?!? Are we going to pick up Harold and go to White Castle? :P

  • rofl u cracker...

  • LMFAOOO

  • Khom aka K.M in Khmer, Khom were superior back then, they do give respect to Khom rather than Khmer in this present days.

  • nice vid

  • I'm in to this bokator thing ever since my big brother was talking about this few years ago, I'm interested in this and I'm planning to go to cambodia someday to learn bokator or padal serey... spread out the word abou it generation after generation... if I have a lot of money I'll put time and everything else to this...

  • Neither Antonio Graceffo nor Tim pek are associated with this video. it was not produced by transparent pictures and it is not a trailer for my Bokator movie. Who ever made this video stole all of the text and titles from my videos.

  • Sorry for the mix up i didn't realize that it was that sensitive. Just a word of adivce, when it comes to senstive material you tube is an extremely unsecure place to display your work, it would be a good idea to place video response warnings in your description area to be sure no else's material can be linked to yours that way you can be the sole provider of content with out the worry of helping others.

  • Hey Ricecrsp,

Keep up your training. Revive our art. By the way, where are you located/live. Love to train with you. I am in Washington State, Seatlle area.

  • Thanks for the comment, the moment i began to learn i got hooked i wish i could have stayed longer to keep training. I live in Tampa, Florida

  • good stuff keep it coming if u can

  • dats cool your not training with the hapkido guy so you won't have any hapkido influences in your moves

  • Wait where did Hapkido come from?

Did you accidently misunderstood it for Hanuman?

  • Hapkido is a Korean martial art. Hanuman is the correct name for that particular style, derived from Hinduism, because Angkor was Hindu during that time.

  • Where did this come from? I know that Hapkido is korean. I know that Hanuman is Hinduism (in buddhism its Sun Wukong, or Son Goku and some other ones) i know that Angkor was Hindu during that time. Most of Cambodia is still Hindu. Even the practices you see in OUR buddhism is Hindu. But anyway. Hanuman is the correct name for what? Labok Katao? Actually, No it isn't. Because there is more than the style of Hanuman. Sdwach Swaa (monkey king) is the Hanuman type. Theres other animals too.

  • Hey Elef I guess I read your question wrong, what did you mean when you said where did Hapkido come from, Its seems you know that its from Korea. Do you mean in the video? Did someone mention Hapkido?

  • Nothing... I just for some reason heard Hapkido...
