I don't Dare Devil was too bad. I think they threw too many big name stars (something A LOT of new comic book movies are avoiding) and it made it a little campy. Ben Affleck wasn't bad, but at the time, putting such a high profile star as the character inevitably hurt the movie. Aside from casting, I thought it was a pretty decent comic book movie and very underrated.
all i can say is transformers : revenge of the fallen was a brilliant film if you don't try and connect it to the comics and animated series and should not be on the list
and i might be wrong but i rely loved daredevil and think that it was a brilliant movie and think that ghost rider should have been in this list and the new green lantern should to that rely sucked and 3D was disappointing
A better argument for Transformers being "superheroes" as you say is that they did have their own comic book, thus they certainly fall into the category of superhero. I did see Transformers 2, on cable, I wasn't the biggest fan of the first one so didn't want to pay the insane prices for it, but yeah, it sucked, the reason being was the complete anti-climatic fight at the end agains the Fallen. @Oggystein You don't have to be a super hero to have a comic such as Richie Rich would have said Archie but he was also Pure Heart the Powerful. However I would say that Transformers can be considered super heroes as they have powers to transform, etc. Ironman uses mechanical armour and is considered as Superhero and the Metal Men were considered super heroes also and they were machines that transformed also.

Daredevil - Well it wasn't a masterpiece, but it was ok, especially the director's cut.
Superman 4 - "this movie should'nt never be made" Not so far fron the truth see than christopher reeves wanted to do this movie just for the scene with the flag on the moon.
Catwoman - nothing to say about it, except than I think than it was worst than batman and robin, at least batman and robin have a minimun of creativity.

@TheTrailerCREAT0R There was 1 movie in there that I actually really enjoyed, and 1 that is a maybe, depending on which one your talking about. Those are Spiderman and Punisher. If your talking about the 2004 Thomas Jane version of the Punisher, then we do have issues. If your talking about the older (cant remember year) version, we have no issues. Spiderman was a great movie, IMO. And I liked how the Punisher wasnt just Castle going around killing people. He made other people do it for him.

I didn't like the original Superman. The part where the west coast of California was going to fall off of the United States into the Pacific Ocean was ridiculous, it was like... "let's throw in something about the new science of plate tectonics!" But it wasn't correct... at all... I don't know, the movie irritated me.

Superman 1-3 were awesome, i loved them.
However part 4 was just a lazy movie and hopeless, you cannot say its a classic by relying on the nostalgia factor. It was alot lower on the scale compared to the first three and just because you do not like it doesn't mean its disrespectful to the franchise.
Just curious: have you ever seen the director's cut of Daredevil? It is much, MUCH better than the theatrical version. It's more violent than the original, with an R rating instead of the original's PG-13, but I think that's perfectly fine. Daredevil isn't Spider-Man; he's a darker and more violent character. I also have a problem with your placing Daredevil as worse than Elektra. No way is even the theatrical release of Daredevil worse than Elektra. Anyway, I strongly recommend Daredevil DC.
Ghost Rider was the WORST. Outta all of em.... Sure it's Entertaining and Gritty as Fuck. But the acting and sequences were so poor and literally (Cheesy). I seemed to have LMAO'D at how slow some of the fatalities were.

Transformers 1 & 2 are basically robot revolution movies. Good vs. Evil, sure, but mainly robots fighting for power. I definitely hope the third movie can top the other two films. Autobots FTW!

I agree with almost all of your choices, except I would've added Steel to the list. I think Elektra and Daredevil weren't that awful, it was at least nice that they tried to be more serious. Catwoman was the worst though, particuarly becausse it was one of those few female superhero movies, and it was done so badly (Wonder Woman deserves a film way way more then Catwoman ever did).

Transformers 2 is in my opinion one of the worst movies I have ever seen, and that on a 200 million dollar budget. 150 minutes (it felt much longer) of boring action and I do like action movies, cringeworthy humor, stupid main characters and crappy story.

Yeah done watching after your pick at number 1...that movie is way better than any of the other movies you mentioned and I don't believe they are super heroes at least not in my opinion. Not like batman or superman, who work alone and can take several enemies at one, these guys have to work as a team to take out foes, which is not super in my opinion.

The Superman movies are classic & I can accept them for camp, but Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor gives the most irritating performance ever, & that includes Dobby (Harry Potter) & Gurgi (Black Cauldron). Jar Jar wasn't even as frustrating as him, just embarassing.

Must say i agreed with you on all these except the Power Rangers movie (despite it coming out a year after i was born) i was a fan of the original show and loved the film. I liked Clooney as Bruce Wayne, but he didn't quite fit the Batman character. It was by far the worst Batman film.

You should do your top ten best superhero movies. I think you could technically count Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen as a superhero film, it isn't based on a comic book character but they are heroes with super powers. I have to say I actually enjoyed Revenge of the Fallen on a dumb guilty pleasure level.

@TheTrailerCREAT0R There was 1 movie in there that I actually really enjoyed, and 1 that is a maybe, depending on which one your talking about. Those are Spiderman and Punisher. If your talking about the 2004 Thomas Jane version of the Punisher, then we do have issues. If your talking about the older (cant remember year) version, we have no issues. Spiderman was a great movie, IMO. And I liked how the Punisher wasnt just Castle going around killing people. He made other people do it for him.

I didn't like the original Superman. The part where the west coast of California was going to fall off of the United States into the Pacific Ocean was ridiculous, it was like... "let's throw in something about the new science of plate tectonics!" But it wasn't correct... at all... I don't know, the movie irritated me.

@testdummy22 yeah but just because someting is classic or the movies prior to it were classic doesn't mean the sequel itself is going to be good and classic.
Superman 1-3 were awesome, i loved them.
However part 4 was just a lazy movie and hopeless, you cannot say its a classic by relying on the nostalgia factor. It was alot lower on the scale compared to the first three and just because you do not like it doesn't mean its disrespectful to the franchise.

Just curious: have you ever seen the director's cut of Daredevil? It is much, MUCH better than the theatrical version. It's more violent than the original, with an R rating instead of the original's PG-13, but I think that's perfectly fine. Daredevil isn't Spider-Man; he's a darker and more violent character. I also have a problem with your placing Daredevil as worse than Elektra. No way is even the theatrical release of Daredevil worse than Elektra. Anyway, I strongly recommend Daredevil DC.

Nice review mate. I also think that Transformers falls under the superhero category - a science fiction backdrop of larger than life metal men with fantastical powers of... deception(?) well, yeah that's exactly it. Also, I must disagree with you on one film hers, and that's Daredevil. I'm surprised it was higher than Elektra. I know it wasn't great, but at least it kept its focus. I've heard the Director's cut is much better, have yet to see it myself. Nice list, and can't wait to see more.

im saying that transformers2 is based off of how sam is going to college and wants a normal life but you are right there really is no plot. they explain the story and then just put fillers (what i mean by that is they are filling in the holes in the movie with great CGI)... and i wouldn't get to excited for the 3rd movie because 1 of thing that made transformers 1 and 2 a success was the megan fox was a part of the movie but she and micheal bay got into an arguement and she is not casted anymore

I agree with almost all of your choices, except I would've added Steel to the list. I think Elektra and Daredevil weren't that awful, it was at least nice that they tried to be more serious. Catwoman was the worst though, particuarly becausse it was one of those few female superhero movies, and it was done so badly (Wonder Woman deserves a film way way more then Catwoman ever did).

What about Spider-Man 3? The actions were good, but what really ticks me off is that they show way too much romance. Not to mention Venom only shows three screens with no fully action. Spider-Man's new black suit is the famous one that shows all over the franchise, but he didn't use it much, only one action scene with Sandman.

Yeah done watching after your pick at number 1...that movie is way better than any of the other movies you mentioned and I don't believe they are super heroes at least not in my opinion. Not like batman or superman, who work alone and can take several enemies at one, these guys have to work as a team to take out foes, which is not super in my opinion.

Hey found the link to your video on the Cinemassacre website, decided to check your videos out. Must say i agreed with you on all these except the Power Rangers movie (despite it coming out a year after i was born) i was a fan of the original show and loved the film. Yes, Transformers are superheros, They can transform and have lots of cool shit to go with it (superpowers) and they protect Earth (heroes). I liked Clooney as Bruce Wayne, but he didn't quite fit the Batman character. It was by far the worst Batman film.
I didn't like the first Transformers and never saw the second, but I'll go see the third; it seems pretty epic. I'm not sure if they are "superheroes" but there is no set in stone definition for a superhero so why not!
