I agree. The main thing is that the music and lyrics are unbelievable, and when you have the basic material anyone with enough talent can do an incredible performance. David - Andy - just a personal preference.
You are right, nobody can sing this song like DC. He puts it at another level. So much passion & feeling in it. I wish he would put this on his next "record" because it's fantastic. I know both Neil and he had a hand in writing it. Well just the title "anodyne" is such a word-nerd thing. LOL
