@999giratina yes you can. At one part in this area of the map, there is a large glass tunnel. If you go into morphball and drop about 4 super bombs, the tunnel will crack and drop you into a ravine which you can blast through and make your way back to brinstar and explore the entire planet with the new suit to find more unlockables. cheers!

@skoolrox123 Not at all. Metroid actually encourages you to try the game with a low percentage, and there's actually a bonus for tryign to do this game with less than 15% of the items.

Metroid Zero Mission is a re-make of the original Metroid for the NES. it's so much fun and really awesome (although Super Metroid for the SNES and Metroid 2 for the GB are my favs of the old school ones...I still tear up at the baby metroid T-T)

@johnsnake71 it was not explained fully to my knowledge, but the common belief is that when the baby metroid attacked Samus (which is now a full grown super big metroid) it at the end recognized her and remembered her from when she hatched (at the end of Metroid 2: the return of Samus) and felt bad so it left her alive. now bear in mind it just sapped all of her strength so when she was dying the baby/grown metroid was all like "NOOO!! MOMMY!!!" so

@DAOW17 it attacked motherbrain and then tried giving your health back while mother brain was for some reason turned to stone. here is where it gets tricky. some people believe that the baby/grown metroid tried to escape while others think that it tried to attack motherbrain again. either way it just gave you back all your health that it had taken so it was pretty tired. thus it dies, saving you. T-T

@johnsnake71 when the baby metroid feriously attacked MB draining and harnessing it's energies it floated back down to Samus slowly revitalizing her but doing so gave MB the time needed to revive after the drain that petrified it. So when MB revived it began attacking the metroid when it was getting close to fully restoring samus the constant barrage by MB was hurting the metroid so when it let samus go it tried for another round of absorbtion but it was near death when MBs final blast killed it

This game is great yeah but in fusion alot of the effects in the game seemed better for an older game, The Charge beam looked and sounded much more powerful than the one here and the Fusion suit just had an amazing sprite, Also I think the Gravity suit on ZM looked fucking ace.

Did you try using the bombs during morph ball transformation? When it moves use the bombs so then it can get to its weak point. It took me awhile to figure that out =)

hit the second one repeatedly with your beam, then get DIRECTLY in front of it when it retreats. when it starts to charge at you, morphball, then plant bombs on the ground. repeat till it dies
