I am viet and you know how vietnamese culturally in the sino sphere...but may be i am south vietnamese and having born and raised in vietnam for 18 years..when i hear this song it feels like home..a sense of familiar melodic experience..i guess southern vietnamese are similar to cambodian or have some cambodian influence or..its the mix of the two i dont know..but i can listen too these songs easily ..the same as i enjoy cantonese musics.
Thanks for the comment. Vietnam and Cambodia went through many hardship together, wether we were on same side or not. We suffered ALOT...I am very glad that cambodia and vietnam now have really good relation wether back at the homeland or here in the USA. :)
