The worst part is that SOPA and PIPA have a good 'face' to them, it makes it harder for people to get them out. I've never heard of that rating, so I guess their companies are doing a great job at silencing people who are trying to get their just as good movies out there. Yes, I do think that this is part of the danger of these bills, and that it is a grab by the main stream entertainment industry to keep their privileged position which they've held up until this point. I hardly watch TV at all, preferring web videos centered on my interests instead. Though, I think that it's also the same battle that's been fought since the first recorded song came around, and more recently the VCR. Still, we're on our way to a paradigm shift, and Hollywood might not survive it.

I completely agree with your points. I would much rather spend my time on Youtube watching videos you, or any other channel, have made, than watching something that has been tailor made for the masses. Don't get me wrong, I'm not just trying to be "indie" by not following the trend. I simply want to watch what I enjoy; small, quirky videos that appeal to a select view. I think I speak for all channels when I say we're honoured to make videos for those people, and we hope to continue.

Honestly this may sound a bit extreme, but it could in all honesty happen. If SOPA/PIPA get passed, you have to think what would happen to 1. The US economy and 2. The group it affects if this is passed. Almost everyone goes on the internet in America and passing a bill that could shut down, sue, and hold liabilities towards a user-submitted group could cause riots.

Agree wholeheartedly. Think about the versatility of youtube currently; the ability to see just about anything you are searching for! Any type of self help, commentary, long play, how-to, unboxing, fighting, killing, encouraging, demeaning, awesome, awful video you want!
