Read about this car many years ago, and liked its looks, I beleive they found the turbine inpractical, may be it roasted cars behind in traffic ?, can't remember, anyway perhaps the V8 is a good compromise. Obvioulsy Jools Holland has got excellent taste, Couple of things, I think the cooling fan could be painted matt black and a mesh put behing the radiator grill as it shows up a bit and I think the grills on the side of the original would be nice replocated, I like it alot.

I appreciate that those guys have done a ton of hard hard work AND made a very beautiful car BUT -I HAVE TO SAY THIS -I really dont see the point in all that effort and time , energy & hard work spent on recreating this because they didnt put an original gas turbine engine in it . SURELY ( and I dont really know - I dont claim to be an expert ) but surely they could have got hold of one of the original engines / had one built ? It all just seems meaningless without that proper engine ! Sorry !

Coz Rover did a jet powered prototype of this car in the 60's, this is a replica of that 1

ah thanks. I saw the Rover BRM jet turbine car on Blue Peter 35 years ago or more, and a road going car fitted with a Spitfire aeroplane engine. It was quite quick.
