Браво на перничани, които пазят българската традиция! И с право наричам този танц български, всичко останало- спорове, история, минало, кавги и несгоди остават на заден план. Ей, БЪЛГАРИНО....!
Once upon a time the Thracians inhabited Bulgarian lands. Millennia after, their ancient and mysterious culture revealed its true magnificence. In the last few decades a number of significant collections of Thracian treasures have been discovered in present-day Bulgaria, providing much of our present knowledge of ancient Thrace.
omg from one video to another, you guys are arguing about who's Blugarian and who's Thracian? COme on! It's a dance from Bulgaria performed by Bulgarians! I love it and don't spoil it all by questioning ethnicities etc just enjoy the friggin' dance please?!
Bulgarians are thracians. There is DNA tests. And this music is in our blood. This is pure bulgarian music and dances. Here in Bulgaria we have many thracian tombs and tresures. So read more books and respect to our old country.
@batgo4o...Bulgarians are Slavs, ŠOPIANS ESPECIALY! Most Thracian tombs and treasures are of Greek origin...So, read more proper books and please, do not make fool of entire Bulgarian population!
@HildaBone Thracians never been Greek.Your history is false. And in shoppe region people are Tourlatsi. The largest part from Thrace is here in Bulgaria. So that you read more books.
Different people,different opinions.We was turks, slavs,tatar,afgans,from Irac,...
@batgo4o...I didnt say, Thracian tribes were Greek, but their culture was...Šopi OR Torlaci, are the same tribe of people, living in Bulgaria, Serbia and Macedonia. They are people of a very rich genetical background, just like all Balkan tribes are, but their culture is based on culture of Slavic people, just like all Bulgarian people is. Also, Thrace region is only the name of one part of the Bulgarian landscape. Those ancient Thracian people were Slavicised, either geneticaly or culturaly.
@Miroslav84bg...I am not realy sure, if you have some kind of a reading problem or you just do not understand English as well as I do...Nope, I am not wrong...Read my comment again.
Hmmm...I thought, Romanians celebrate Glory with the word Slava...But, you are probably wright...We, Slavic people must took it from you...After all, you are famous, 8000 years old civilisation.
Horo = thracian ancient dance, originating from the Cucuteni culture (Romania, Moldova, Southern Ukraine) 8000 years ago. Google "Hora de la Frumusica"... this is "vlach" folklore ... stop the identity theft please...
@unomnacajit11...You are making fool of yourself...This is dance from Šope region...There is also museum in Moscow, dedicated to Slavic infuence on folklore traditions in formal Soviet republic of Moldova, Georgia, etc...!
@unomnacajit11 O-o-ops...so now what? Where is Thracia and which country is older? Since when are the Bulgarians and since when the wallacians?? I know you have some wrong ideas but if you just simply follow the chronology ...identity theft would sound quiet out of place. Plus I thought you were dacians, no ;? May be you should also look at the outstanding number of thracian artifacts found in Bulgaria. Bring out something different than what's in the Romanian nationalist history books!!
@mi6obravoto Relax man, I know my history from non-romanian sources. I was just saying that this is NOT bulgar dance. Bulgars came from Asia 1400 years ago and this is a dance of the assimilated indigenous peoples. Nobody said anything about Dacians. They were one of the thracian tribes but lived only north of the Stara Planina. Between the Danube and the Stara Planina they adopted latin and then some were slavicised. You know the rest...
@unomnacajit11 You are wrong too, this dance is pure bulgarian dance and have nothing to do with the ancient thracians. Im not sure what you mean with the word "bulgar", but this is bulgarian dance. Can you explain, why do you think this is not a bulgarian or "bulgar" dance, maybe you know something about this dance which I dont know. How do you know this dance is from assimilated indigenous peoples, but not bulgars?
I first heard this music 40 years ago. I travelled to Bulgaria five times to enjoy the live performances. I have Bulgarian bagpipes in my room, hanging on the wall. Maybe my ancient ancestors came from the Balkans. This music still stirs my blood and brings tears to my old eyes. Tinkermanful
