Obviously, for the movie V for Vendetta, a new story line was added (something about poison or what ever destroying other countries and that no where else is safe and as perfect as England) so V wanted to stop that. So he planned a rebellion on the 5th of November.

Come on, drop it guys. This movie is quite vaguely based on Guy Fawkes thing. The movie is heavily romanticized, and reflects a total different society than we have or had. While i neither support terrorism, i do enjoy the film very much. Ive seen a lot, and this is definitely in my top 3.
