You WERE his student, I AM his student. I can tell you he was awarded his 7th degree a few months ago after he returned from his trip to Japan. I personally gave him a standing ovation in his class to congratulate him. Osu!

What, ummmm yes he's 7th dan now and I know that because I'm his student now in his school and he's got his 7th dan in New York. He got his belt in New York but his received his grade when he was in Japan. I see him 5 times a week so I know he's grade. Osu
