i use a blower and if you use it right its faster then that power washer with less mess and its easier on you..i do this for a living.. plus most homes if your smart shut off there out side valves..and you use less gas and water..
Plus, this takes longer than just sprinkling some salt. On top of that, we're all drinking recycled poop water as it is. I don't wanna have to drink more cause this goof is lazy as Hell!
Ice eats into the concrete and causes it to flake away. It also washes into the grass and acidifies to soil. It takes much longer and refreezes that night.
This took less than 30 mins and was dry in about an hour.
First, you don't do it when the air temp is below 32 degrees, second cold air is usually very dry air and the water left on the driveway evaporates very quickly.
It beats the hell out of pounding the driveway for hours. I can clean it in about 30 minutes.
what a nice way to have water in to a ice rink in a -minus conditions

@BikZippo
1. you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
2. this is not 1810, there's water treatment plants.
3. nobody's forcing you to drink from the faucet.
4. deal with it

yeah its good until the water freezes in the hose that goes to the powerwasher
FordFanatic59 4 years ago
it wont freeze inside the hose, there is a constant flow of HIGH pressure water, and its above freezing temp. :) happy holidays!
