This brought back memories of a great day with some very funny happenings!! We were standing in front of Charlie at the front, as usual Minds were fantastic.

Sad to say the "other" band that night weren't nearly as good. I still remember seeing JD on stage, dressed just like Michael Hutchence untucked loose shirt, tight pants, gyrating in a futile attempt to impersonate the man. Christ even his hairstyle was heavily reminiscent of Hutchence in the 80s. They were like a 2-bit karaoke gig after the brilliance of Minds... a shadow of their former selves...

I was at the concert the night before this one: Syd Ent Cent, 30th March 2007... I remember Arrested Development opened, they weren't bad actually (I still remember a haunting version of Marley/Strummer's Redemption Song they did). But Minds stole the show, man they are just incredible live. They were only on for 1 hour but I savoured every second of it, hands down one of the truly great bands of music...
