Don't ever compare Jamaica to Haiti. There is no comparison between them. Jamaica is very developed just facing an econic downturn and high crime. Haiti on the otherhand never developed in any way. This is reflected by their embarrasingly low literacy rate. Get ur facts right. Jamaican sluns are concentrated in urban nooks and crannies, not spread out all over the entire island

Our tourism industry is ever increasing in arrivals, we are the fifth largest producer of Bauxite in the world, we have a better agricultural industry. Our standard of living is better than Mexico, Venezuela, and China. Our country has a rich history of rebellions which forced the British to free the slaves in the Western Hemisphere.

Please allow me a chance to shed a little light upon this subject. Haiti is home to millions of human beings. The island is rich in natural resources. A few rich people live quite well there while many people starve and have to live very poorly. It is an unfortunate reality that these people have no real choice but to suffer. Even worse, something could be easily done about it.
