No offense, but I'm really sick of people talking about how much better Muay Boran is than Muay Thai. Just because it had headbutts and was 'designed for war' does not make it a better system. In fact,I would say it is sub-par to Thai. Modern boxing is MUCH better than boxing 110 years ago and no boxer then would stand a chance. Another example: Musket vs assault rifle. The musket is older, but not even in the same league as the assault rifle.Muay Boran is just romanticized by martial art shows.
