We have no criticism of your editing, as you are clearly an adequate editor (apart from a few choppy cuts towards the end during the Tetsuo mutation scene). What we find highly objectionable is your atrocious selection of music.

1) This song will never EVER suit the beauty of the images from Akira (regardless of thematic parallels you may wish to argue in your video's defence). There is not the slightest impression of harmony here.

2) Not only is this dreadful song incompatible with Otomo's masterpiece (English language soft metal, seriously??), it is a clear affront to the genius of Geinoh Yamashirogumi. No alternative music could EVER replace what they poured their hearts and souls into when creating the original soundtrack for Akira,

well i apologize for the music that was a set part of the task for my coursework, i am not a huge fan of the music it just fit the task at hand, and i know alot of fans dont like this, but i find that quite a few people like the video. of course everyone is entitled to an equal opinion.

That is what people expect to hear when looking up Akira on youtube, and when they look up anything related to 'Akira music' it is guaranteed they are searching specifically for the soundtrack created by Geinoh Yamashirogumi. They certainly don't want to hear what the musical taste of some random youtuber has to offer. Therefore it is only appropriate that you change the name of your video to 'Akira AMV'...
