Kurt got depressed and suicidal over his heroin addiction. If the media and paparazzi really caused his suicide, more famous people would've killed themselves too because of how they're harrassed by the photogs. Frances seems a lot more level-headed than Kurt was. She's also about to release a recording soon so she knows what she's getting herself into. If she becomes super famous, she'll know what to expect because she's seen how the paparazzi are around her mother.

How do you know Kurt was mentally ill in the first place. Sometimes suicicde is the best choice human being wants to do in order to stop the pain, its not necesarrily a crazy. It maybe weak, because if people were genetically born as strong then they wouldnt kill themselves. Believe me there are moments in life when no one can help you and the suicide is the ONLY alternative!!! And i would support their choice if their life has no chance to get better, and no psychiatrist will ever help you.
