No where in the Constitution does it say anything about the idea of "separate church and state". Here is the key phrase: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;" 'Seperate' is not in there. Far as I know, no one has established a religion in our country by law. Hope this helps.
