Sri Lanka is the only country in the world which has made Tamil a state language while there about 100 million Tamils all over the world. Tamil enjoys parity with the Sinhalese as the national state languages and in India where there are 70 million Tamils it is only a provincial language. Having seen State sponsored riots on Tamils many times since mr.Bandarnaike any riot's if on Tamils as u mentioned it starting from Colombo in future then Tamils want in such case work on erracing colombo from entire world map.LTTE war is against your Goverment and economy was not targeting Sinhala civillians compared to the death toll of tamil civillians killed by all the sinhala goverment. who is real Terrorist State or only on paper LTTE?
please mate government sponsored? what rubbish....the top police officials at the time were tamils and it only occured after 13 soldiers were killed by the LTTE and then injured soldiers who got captured having their hands cut off and their toes amuptated...and their wedding rings removed and thrown....then all the sinhalese were killed in the north and east. Then the muslims were killed and kicked out of their homes...thereby meaning ethnic cleansing in these areas just for the LTTE..
Why can't be this the work of the gov. And blaim the ltte just to break up the cease fire agreement? At that moment ltte had all the tamil ares except jaffna under their control. And the government did had some major setbacks. A political solution was almost there. So It can be that gov didn't wanted. With all the international media in kilinochi, gov was afraid that the ltte may get their goal politically.
Thank you for enlightining me and other tamil people that have been supressed by the LTTE. Actually some of the sinhalese people risked their lives during the riots to help some of my relatives who are also tamil. We will be eternally grateful. The LTTE should stop their barbaric massacring of innocent people in Sri Lanka(an island I once called home). Thank you.
im half sinhala, bt yh my relatives helped the tamil people during the riots in 83 to...i'm disgusted that the sinhalas could do such a barbaric thing n i feel sorry for the tamil community, bt i dnt support the LTTE i think we should all unite n jus b one n stop this racism its getting really annoying now

Thank you for enlightining me and other tamil people that have been supressed by the LTTE.
