This is amazing!!!!! I have been a flute player for 11 years. I find this wonderful! This is one of my pieces for my flute audition at ASU this spring coming up. Now, it's definitely not at this speed, but I find this absolutely amazing. :) I admire your talent! And to everyone who is insulting you, GO AWAY. It takes a lot to be able to do half of what he did. You have NO idea. Flute is a very difficult instrument to master.
I have accompanied flautists for this particular flute sonata (I play harpsichord), and your speed is spot on. Consistent. I cannot speak of the phrasing because I do not play flute, but your articulation is good - to be flawless at this speed takes a great deal of work. And by the way, it does not sound like someone typing fast - keep up the good work and keep practicing. I would love to accompany u on this sonata. Well done my friend and keep at it!!!
To those who insult this; you must have some musical experience to have the gall to insult this man.
Though he is playing the piece incorrectly, the speed at which he plays is at the very least a "professional" level. With proper guidance he could become great unlike those who carelessly try to insult others to make it seem as though they know better.
Anyways, great performance sir. I thank you for posting this video and allowing me to hear such great music.
Wow, were you in a hurry to get somewhere? Just kidding. I can't either articulate that fast or get my fingers going at that pace - must take a lot of practice!
Most Bach pieces they take time to understand and have little immediate appeal. Try to listen to this piece, deeply concentrated, 25 times at you will start discovering what makes Bach what he is.
Very very good to play it so fast :P i can get it to about half ure speed. in saying that only needs to be played at 1/3rd of what u play it at but thats pretty fantastic. ure double tonguing is excellent as well.
just be careful cause alot of bits blurr together and its tying together to much :P
A parte qualche leggerissima imprecisione, buona tecnica.
I played this for an audition on tenor sax. Obviously I didn't play it as fast since it's just not possible to tongue that quickly on a sax (I got about 108-112 for a quarter note).
Lol, I have to perform this soon. I find it difficult as well. I dunno how to tounge at all but somehow I'm gonna have to learn to double tounge this piece
Comunque grazie.
A Little too fast, but to each his own on interpretation. You did it very clean though (you know that though, otherwise I doubt you would've posted it. not meaning to insult your intelligence)
but yeah, when I played this piece with an accompanist, I gained a much better understanding of this mvmt as with all of the bach sonatas because the parts are interdependent. =)
Are you maybe new to Bach and unfamiliar with this famous piece? If so I understand you quite well, actually.
To enjoy most Bach compositions two things are needed: 1. A heart and mind for 'complex' music. 2. Even so: investment of time - don't expect it to mean much the first 10-20 times you hear it.
Then, at least if you are like me, Bach suddenly starts to shake your soul and you discover an incredible greatness you never knew existed in music.
I've been playing flute for about three years, I also play tenor sax and of course piccolo for marching band. I hope I get to the point one day that I can play like this. Amazing. Beautiful. I loved it.
Tell me what you think of my flute videos. Post this as a video response to my video called REAL FLUTE REAL MUSIC so more people will see it. Good job
Hey, this is not how Bach should be played. It sounds like your playing an etude with no music at all. Only fast playing is not impressive... But your stamina is bravo!

Oh nonsense;
Don't try and tell me every note Bach wrote was Gold and I just need to listen until I'm brainwashed.
Some pieces just ARE NOT GOOD!
But the POINT is he's RUINING this piece. His tone & phrasing suck.
And you SORMU...you play out of tune on BWV 1030.
I've been at this music longer than you have.
