I've seen this group and another group (the Mahoney Bros) live. Hands down the Mahoney's are better. They play at Altlantic City most of the time. Have played all over the United States though, even including Hillary Clinton's birthday party. Longest running Beatles imitators, did the original Legends in Concert in Las Vegas, and the original play "Beatlemania", in New York.
My favourite song of all time. So much truth in the lyrics. As an atheist, I might just call this my anthem. Going to see them in Aug. when they roll into town. Grew up watching them live, go through all the stages and then getting the news that John had been shot dead. Can't wait to see Rain. Hope they do this one.
@187ProofESGR 1964 are awesome (and Ohioans like myself) but the Fab Four is equally as good as 1964. Their two Christmas CDs are must haves for any Beatles fan. I'll be seeing RAIN in Toledo Jan 18. They did an awesome job on the soundtrack to "Birth of the Beatles" and I like that where as 1964 re-creates a mid-60s Beatles concert, RAIN is a full Broadway show that takes you through the whole Beatles experience From 1963 all the way to 1970 and beyond.
I love this rendition of Imagine and keep coming back to listen to it, over and over again. It's so beautiful - thank you! You are enormously talented as a band! I'd love you to the write some new "Beatles" music as if the Beatles had continued beyond their breakup. I'll set you a challenge for you! Hunter in Australia.
@SlappyFrankenstein: look, we'll never have the beatles again. if these men bring happiness to those of us who loved the beatles and it brings back memories of a happier time, why are you so hateful about our going and seeing them? they are making people feel good. your attitude and comments do the opposite! relax and put love in your heart...
When I saw these guys, I cried a few tears at this song, I was about 2 or 3 feet from Steve watching him sing and play it, it was so beautiful, and he kept looking at me and smilling.
I saw the original "BeatleMania" at the Orphium Theater In San Francisco in 1977. I have traveled all over California to see "Rain Tribute". I've seen them over 20 times. I love these guys.
@TheDilligan Get your facts straight. No, it's not a Beatles song. But it not come out "years after they broke up". It came out in 1971, one year after.

@mcates101 Ah alright. When I saw them live they didn't do any post-Beatles stuff, just Beatles stuff, I'm got front row tickets to see them in February :D, so I'm gonna ask them to play it!
Sounds great, but what's with the standing in the dark? Lennon usually plays the song with his piano or at least a keyboard. This guy sing it with his hands in his pockets.

IF you want to see someone who reminds you of John Lennon, check out "GARY GIBSON" type his name in youtube with the word "Lennon"
Gary looks exactly like John, although he doesn't really sound like him, only a little bit.
This version of imagine is okay (by Rain) but John's voice is too unique and its hard to imitate.

They did this in Detroit last night. I was there. It was a pretty emotional moment.
But it wasn't Steve Landes. It was his understudy. He really did it well.
