  • I saw them a couple of years ago. It was so fabulous. I actually felt like I was there in the 60s seeing it happen.

  • I'm going to see them tomorrow night :)

  • My favourite song of all time. So much truth in the lyrics. As an atheist, I might just call this my anthem. Going to see them in Aug. when they roll into town. Grew up watching them live, go through all the stages and then getting the news that John had been shot dead. Can't wait to see Rain. Hope they do this one.

  • I saw them on June 2nd 2010. It was so amazing. They didnt play Imagine, but they played Give Peace A Chance.

  • I can't wait I'm going to see this on May 7th on broadway!!!!!!! :)

  • @187ProofESGR 1964 are awesome (and Ohioans like myself) but the Fab Four is equally as good as 1964. Their two Christmas CDs are must haves for any Beatles fan. I'll be seeing RAIN in Toledo Jan 18. They did an awesome job on the soundtrack to "Birth of the Beatles" and I like that where as 1964 re-creates a mid-60s Beatles concert, RAIN is a full Broadway show that takes you through the whole Beatles experience From 1963 all the way to 1970 and beyond.

  • wtf:D so good

  • I saw them last year> Its as close as we will ever get to having the Beatles bacl.

  • i realy wish i can see the guys one day

  • I love this rendition of Imagine and keep coming back to listen to it, over and over again. It's so beautiful - thank you! You are enormously talented as a band! I'd love you to the write some new "Beatles" music as if the Beatles had continued beyond their breakup. I'll set you a challenge for you! Hunter in Australia.

  • @SlappyFrankenstein: look, we'll never have the beatles again. if these men bring happiness to those of us who loved the beatles and it brings back memories of a happier time, why are you so hateful about our going and seeing them? they are making people feel good. your attitude and comments do the opposite! relax and put love in your heart...

  • There is nothing better than John Lennon, period.

But gotta admit, Rain is really good.

  • He really sounds pretty close to john lennon .

  • Go look up Liverpool Legends

  • he sounds better than John!!!!!!!! its so mellow and not busy... I love this group. They ROCK!! PLEASE COME TO SEATTLE!!

  • @bixer23 good one!!!

  • now all he has to do is meet Yoko Ono and ruin his career

  • @bixer23 LMAO

  • He sounds almost EXACTLY like John!

  • WOW! That's all I've got to say.

  • wow sounds and looks just like john Lennon. RIP john....

  • He sounds more like Sean than John..

  • When I saw these guys, I cried a few tears at this song, I was about 2 or 3 feet from Steve watching him sing and play it, it was so beautiful, and he kept looking at me and smilling.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!

  • I saw these guys in March. Great performance.

  • So emotionally tender a moment...I miss John Lennon even now and forever more! RIP John and God bless you.

  • IF you want to see someone who reminds you of John Lennon, check out "GARY GIBSON" type his name in youtube with the word "Lennon"

Gary looks exactly like John, although he doesn't really sound like him, only a little bit.

This version of imagine is okay (by Rain) but John's voice is too unique and its hard to imitate.

  • They did this in Detroit last night. I was there. It was a pretty emotional moment.

But it wasn't Steve Landes. It was his understudy. He really did it well.

  • I saw the original "BeatleMania" at the Orphium Theater In San Francisco in 1977. I have traveled all over California to see "Rain Tribute". I've seen them over 20 times. I love these guys.

  • why do so many see this as a beatles song. it came out years after they broke up.

it was written by john and yoko and john didn't wanna give any credit to yoko, lol

  • @TheDilligan Get your facts straight. No, it's not a Beatles song. But it not come out "years after they broke up". It came out in 1971, one year after.

  • Very good :) I really hope they come to BC eventually.

  • may 28th

  • seeing these guys live almost made me cry, because they were so damn good i could only wonder: what if the real beatles were standing here in front of me? So happy and sad at the same time haha

  • I've seen them live. They are as close to the Beatles as you're ever going to get.

  • So did I ITS AMAZING

  • Comment removed

  • @JordanLolss Steve Landes/David Leon does actually now play piano on this song

  • @Stray9999 i saw them live a couple years ago. i'm only 24 now, obviously i will never see the beatles live, but the people we sat next to actually did see the beatles live, and they said [and i totally agree] these guys are incredible, and same as you said, you're not going to get much closer to the beatles aside from the beatles themselves!

  • David Leon who is the understudy for Rain is a great John Lennon

  • i can't fully agree with you, these guys are the closest to John you get

  • I'm just wondering, was it supposed to be a like rising from the dead effect? Because thats what it strikes me as.

  • I could definitely see where you'd get the idea from this video. However, from what I've seen live I don't think so.

  • @mcates101 Ah alright. When I saw them live they didn't do any post-Beatles stuff, just Beatles stuff, I'm got front row tickets to see them in February :D, so I'm gonna ask them to play it!

  • Sounds great, but what's with the standing in the dark? Lennon usually plays the song with his piano or at least a keyboard. This guy sing it with his hands in his pockets.

  • Thee best i've seen !!!! Paul, Ringo,George and John should all be thankful to have a group of guys like you all to HELP carry on thee amazing stories that are THE BEATLES !!!! if you all weren't here, can you IMAGINE ??!!

  • Yeah when I went to see this guys I was a somewhat big Beatles fan, then I left a Beatlemaniac. Buying their CDs and reading about them like crazy.

  • I will see them tomorrow in Paris

  • I saw them in Rochester on June 6

  • I will see them tomorrow in Paris

  • saw then play lastnight in tampa.... they are great.... worth it

  • Dang, they were in Tampa AGAIN?! TOo bad I missed 'em again :(. I saw them over at the Performing Arts center, they were awesome

  • I think they're an overall good tribute band although I don't really think he sounds very much like John.

  • i saw them two days ago in cedar falls iowa, they were amazing, he played the piano on this song at the concert i went to

  • i have heard of these people, and yes, they are good. im going to see them in april

  • where, when, and r there tickets still on sale? please write back!!!!!

  • He can and does actually play the piano... I saw them in Michigan just this year and he played the piano on this song. It's funny that you should undermine such talent. Ignorance.

  • i saw them they where amazing im a huge beatles fan i have all there albums exept for two

  • do these guys play some of their less famous songs like stuff from abbey road, revolver or rubber soul.i saw another tribute band named "the fab four" that was really good but i was dissapointed 'cause they only played the famous songs.i'm seeing "rain" in may just curious to know.

  • I believe they do but it's been a wile sense I saw them preform.

  • I get to see them on my birthday feb 19th!!!! I am so excited!

  • dude u are going to enjoy them!!!!!

i saw them jan 18 here in FL and wow just wow i cried lol

they sang oh my love imagien and give peace a chance =] tresure every second !!!

  • why didn't they have john play the piano?

  • Because, just maybe, this isn't actually John, so maybe this dude can't play piano... Just a thought.

  • Its not a hard song to play on the piano and i went to one of their shows and he played the piano on other songs so i don't see why he wouldn't on this... Just a thought

  • same here he played

  • he played the piano on this song when i saw them on feb 20th

  • @Rock7132 he plays piano in every other john song that calls for it, just not this one, its more powerful when he stands anyways

  • So excited to see them Feb. 20th

  • this is horrible nothing compares to the original

  • not even paul himself thinks that...

  • it was amazing!

i loveed it sooo gonna go again

close your eyes and its john singing.

but i didnt cause i i didnt want to miss the show

  • uhhh i want jan 18 to come!!

  • I saw them in Bilouxi,Mississippi at the Beau Rivage! It was Awesome!!

  • I saw them on PBS last night, they sound just like the real Beatles. I live in San Diego and I can't wait for them to come next year!

  • I didnt know it WASNT the beatles, til they said it on TV (course I was in the other room most the time)

  • I went in Hyannis and it was great, the closest to the real Beatles we unlucky ones, born at the wrong time, can get. Of course, if you looked closely the illusion was broken, but they were still amazingly like them. I encourage you to go.

  • aghghgh i am pretty much DYING to see them. it's the closest we can get to the real thing :( i hear that the entire thing is just amazing. :)

  • next best thing to the real beatles

  • For me the first part of the concert was the way it was and the second part was the concert they never gave.

Great show, I'll go again for sure.

  • i saw them a few days ago in dallas, tx. very good show!

  • i saw this today and loved it

  • the show and lighting was great!

  • i saw them

  • I saw them last night!

  • I saw them in concert, very good.

  • It was honestly like going back to the 60's and experiencing a Beatles concert. everything about this show was an extremely accurate representation of the beatles.

  • I was at the Milwaukee concert. I couldn't believe that they were able to replicate the tones and mannerisms of the Beatles. Great show!

  • i feel lucky im going to see them live in milwaukee

  • the amazing thing is that he is even better live

  • It is a really good cover. The voice is pretty close too.

  • Yay rainiacs!

  • That's pretty close to JL's voice.. impressive.

  • you should see him live; my friend and I got chills when they started to sing

  • I completely believe you on that. This singer is incredible of well he can replicate Lennon.

  • YO Hippiman wtf John Lennons Imagine was an absolute masterpiece. Seening as Lennon was in the band it would be completely retarded not to include that in the performance.

im goin to there show tonight in toronto

    yaaa

  • saw it a few hours ago in toronto; they are ggrreeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • john lennon had a solo career and "imagine" was part of that career not the beatles. But they included it in the rain performance.

  • I saw the show last night at The Sheas in Buffalo, NY. If you liked the Beatles at all...YOU'VE GOT TO SEE THIS. This clip is good, but there was nothing like seeing it and hearing it in person. Worth every Penny....Lane!

  • what do you mean this isnt a beatles song?, John Lennon sang this song, please explain?

  • I think MrMorningGlory means that it was a solo by John, and didn't include Paul, George and Ringo...

  • ...this isn't a Beatles song.

  • well i got surprise tickets for my boyfriend! I know he is going to love it! cant wait to see the smile on his face. :D

  • I saw this show last night...it was BRILLIANT. Joe Bithorn's guitar work on 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' was amazing.

  • Rain is awsome! no one other than Paul hinself can recreate The Beatles like this!

  • I saw rain last night. it a must see for all beatles fans or even not beatles fans it was great the closest you'll get to seeing the beatles!!!I HEART RAIN

  • amazing! this show is a MUST see for beatles fans! i think this is the closest thing to seeing the beatles

  • I saw them in January at Philly's Academy of Music. The WMGK sponsored show. I don't think he sang 'Imagine' then. Awesome group!

  • i just saw Rain in New Jersey three days ago.. A very good show.

  • saw em in vancouver

  • Well I haven't seen them live but they are good. I know of a local NJ band who does The Beatles too and the guy that plays John in the NJ group sounds exactly like John (very eerie). Name of the group is Mahoney Brothers and they are online at m a h o n e y b r o s . c o m but these guys are good and I salute anyone who loves The Beatles and esp loves the song Imagine which happens to be my favorite song of all time! :)

    Heidi

  • I saw Rain, and they did Imagine too. I really thought it was out of place. If they were going to do a solo Beatle, they should have dug into George's All Things Must Pass... or maybe just stick to raw Beatles tunes! Golden Slumbers Medley would have been a fitting finale

  • i saw rain too, and yeah it was kind of odd that they did imagine...but w/e it still sounded good! =)

  • i saw rain too (AWESOME concert!!) they sang imagine as well but they sang the golden slumbers medley too. i effing love that song too. if they come back to st. louis i'm goin again!!

  • I saw Rain(c) in Cleveland. Bloody amazing!

  • They're in Vancouver again soon (the Vancouver in Canada that is) July 20, 21 at the Orpheum Theatre.

  • i saw them in st louis and they were amazing. i highly support anyone who likes them to go see them.

  • anyone else see them in vancouver in june? they were awesome

  • I saw Rain back on January 28 in Toronto. They were amazing. They sond so much like the actual Beatles. I was surprised when they performed this song but i was glad because John Lennon is my Idol.

  • I just saw them a week ago in. They're the only band now that should be allowed to play Beatles songs.

  • The lighting makes him look alomst ghostlike. Kinda creepy when you think about it

  • sweet

  • I saw Rain in Philadelphia.

It was kickass, and they sounded just like the Beatles.

  • I saw them in Philly too. They are amazing. One of the best experiences of my life
