  • This is twenty minutes of Kagan avoiding all of Senator Coburn's questions. Nothing more. It speaks volumes.

  • wow that kagan guy is an ass

  • @slickbtk when did patton oswald become a justice?

  • In my opinion, Corruption, Cronyism, and Conspiracy are ubiquitous in our Government, our Global Corporate Board Rooms, throughout our Unions, our Congress, our Senate, our Judicial system, our Universities and Educational systems.

It makes me wonder who the terrorists are...

  • VOTE NO...WE DO NOT NEED THIS PERSON ON THE SUPREME COURT!!!

  • She doesn't beleive in the 2nd. That's a Red flag !!!

Sotomayor did the same, and look what she did in the last opinion McDonald v Chicago voted against people protecting themselves and their families.

Is easy when you have ARMED security 24\7 to protect you but, when it comes self preservation and protection of self and family these people are hell bent on siding with those who seek to harm us. I'll never understand them. This is what we can expect from her too.

  • ALL politicians have been running roughshod over the Constitution for quite some time. The only thing they understand is VOTES!! Vote them ALL out come November. You want "change", well, lets change them ALL!!!

  • Coburn is one of the gutless wonders who voted against unemployment yet votes for more war funds and foreign aid at the bequest of the wall street bankers, lobbyists ans whoever else will pay his way.

Take Out the Trash Day Nov.2, 2010 bye bye coburn you'll be free at last

  • Again, Kagan is so smart for this panel that i fail to see why she was excessively nervous. Senator Coburn is a well meaning, small intellectual minded and might i say typical republican. All Kagan needed to do was simply-take those idiotic quetions for what it was and not what it could be. She needed not to intellectualize all Coburns stupid questions, out of context applications, and bizarre 1776 village anologies and make it into some 'trick intellectual' trap.

  • Hooray foi Justice Kagan. All we need is one more judge like Kagan and we can take a big step toward changing the right wing activist court which tramples on the constitution. Hooray for Obama!!!!

  • @tolbiny66 you are anti-american

  • @bodybuilder444444

Au contraire, it is you who is the anti-American. The right has damn near wrecked this great country. Hooray for Obama and Kagan!

  • @tolbiny66 Too bad our founding fathers, ya know the guys who allowed us to have this amazing, prosperous country, would disagree with you. They were highly conservative. I guess you must be against them too huh?

  • Comment removed

  • @tolbiny66 No are you kidding? You need to repeat Political Science 101. They were Libertarians. Many conservatives today refer to themselves as "Jeffersonian Liberals," as the founding father's idea of liberal is the contemporary conservative. Last I checked, a LIMITED government was a rather conservative philosophy... nice try.

  • @bodybuilder444444

I'll give you a D for effort. You might want to read the Constitution and correct your response.

  • @tolbiny66 I'm sorry, you're right. I just re-read the constitution and they called for a dictatorship with an exponentially growing government, not a limited government....woops...Silly me...

  • @bodybuilder444444

Your apology is accepted. I have to tell you the words after right must have been hijacked by a right wing loony. I know you don't share those sentiments. Let me know if you need some additional help with understanding other US documents.

  • Go Tom Go!!!! Thanks for presenting my views so well. Keep plugging for my freedom, property rights and the rule of law.

I will be voting for you again next time you are to be reelected. You and Inhoffe are the only reason I do not favor national term limits.

  • @StoneBluff1 There seems to be no place in my life where my property and privacy are not touched. There is no place to hide and no place that is hidden in my life. If I buy a piece of toilet paper, the Federal government can find that out. They can intimidate your landlord out of your most private information. On term limits, it is an attempt to curb voters' rights. "Stop Me Before I Vote Again!"

  • It sure seems like she tries to steer away from his questions. Just answer the damn question and quick beating around the bush. I sure dont have trust in her just watching and hear her responses. I agree though, she does seem really nervous playing with her pen and at times can not look him in the eye. She can't even get her words out and this is a Supreme Court Judge. WOW!!!!!!!

  • mr7clay - Dude sounds to me like you have sour grapes and you still living in the past. Senator Coburn made some great points. To be sure, the Country made mistakes in the past but you can't tell me that it hasn't bent over backwards to make things right. You got to stop holding on to the past Bro and live in the present. Get rid of the negativity --

  • (sigh) I await Sen Coburn's movement to remove the federal Controlled Substances Act as misinterpretation of the commerce clause. Ask blacks and gays how awesome freedom was when he was twenty.

  • Kagan seems too smart for this panel. She also seems extremely nervous, i dont know why though; she seems like she wants this job desperately. I certainly think those pearls are extremely inapropriate for Kagans butch, looking austere. Its so deceitful and ridiculous that i had to scream: OBECTION, YOUR HONOR!

  • @Basra2020 She has something to hide and the way she answered it is a revelation on that.
