I like this video, because I am going to by a recorder and record what the spirits are saying to me.
If the spirits are repeating what I am saying, or speaking a sentence (interaction with me speaking), then I know it is a spirit.
I live in Rapid City, and the funny thing is the radio broadcasting stations all say "Rapid City, Sturgis, Deadwood" which is a name of a town 30 miles away from Rapid City. I get a lot of Dead fragments which I discount because I know it is a radio fragment.
These devices perform a linear scan of carriers. A linear scan the is first major flaw in these devices. They are nothing more than bunk. You aren't hearing "voices from the other side". You're hearing what you want to hear.
No, ALL of these devices, including Frank Sumption's boxes, perform a linear scan. None perform a random scan. There is no randomness in engineering and these devices are nothing more than frequency sweepers. You aren't communicating with "spirits" because these devices lack an outgoing signal.
They are broken radios. Nothing more, nothing less.
The earliest versions of Frank's Boxes indeed performed a random sweep. There was no order to it. Look him up and ask him at his EVP-ITC group. Frank was the first to try this and heard communication through them. Not going to argue, as I understand your position. I felt the same until I had my own experiences with the devices that I can no longer discount.
Seems to me that since the chances are REALLY high of regular voices coming through from random stations, I would not use this method of EVP at all. To easy to get words confused with simple fragments of real radio programs. I haven't heard any reliable info given using these boxes except random names and dates that really are up the interpretation of the listener. I would suggest trying EVP recording via a simple digital hand held. At any rate, it's all very entertaining! Thanks for the vid.
Piper, I understand your point. However, when we ran experiments with the device in haunted locations, the results were amazing! Radio fragments can account for what may seem like messages, but we look for relative responses that are intelligent answers to questions. For example, when I asked, "Have many of the earthbound spirits moved on unto the light?" the reply was, "Light. Yes."
I do not doubt that they work, I would be still worried about the radio fragments. Also I am curious if the same effet couldn't be created with a white niose box. I do loke the video. Like I said I believe you I just worry about radio station fragments not sure i would use one on an investigation because of that but I can say I would love to play with on outside investigations. Hvae you used the K ll before? Thank you for the reply and happy Ghost hungting. -Piper
Yes, some people use white noise generators, box fans, running water, etc to give the spirit voices something to "ride upon." Stefan Bion has EVPmaker...check it out.
Good video bro! I want 2 start doing this, but hey I just noticed something... when you trim the voice that says "spirit" and you cut of what you think is excess. It almost sounds like, its trying 2 say "Spirit Box" as if trying 2 repeat you... look at it again through your same video... Starting at round 2:35 part. Pay close attention... thats just im hearing over and over... I had 2 pause your video and replay that part over and over... Im sure of it... just a thought bro.. check it out!

A random scan does not make a difference, if that is your point.

There is nothing random about this device. Randomness does not exist in engineering. This is a linear scan.
puppetdesign 2 years ago
No but you reference linear, as though a random scan model may be more effective. Most of Frank Sumption's boxes were random sweep.

i still had a really hard time understanding what it said. i would have said, "see there".

I hear that or "it's either'" Honestly that is a bad method. You are hearing radiostation fragments why has no one just usesd a white niose box?
