@lavaworld5 It won't delete your PIN because it's a code from the device, not from the software. Also it makes a back-up just before upgrading so your personal information and contacts won't be deleted, they are restored into the phone once the update is done.

@addicted2lax The Bold is nicer and has more features. But the Curve is cheaper, has everything you need, has a better keyboard (IMO) + a much nicer looking design (Also IMO)

@nedmo112 My phone was just telling me that there was an upgrade available. I said yes because I figured it wouldn't change anything. I don't mind 6 so much now, I've gotten used to it. You can go to your menu and see if you have anything telling you that an upgrade is available...or I think you can sync your phone into the computer and do it that way.

Hello, I just downloaded the new os 6 (version 6.0.0.415) and now none of my themes are working. I called sprint and the only thing they can suggest is for me to go into the store and get the older ( 5.0 version) that orginally came with the phone. I am really considering it because I hate what the new update is doing to my phone (I have the 9330 too). Can you help?

I think i might have found an update to OS 6 on the actual BlackBerry website. Like when you go under smartphones and pick the one you have, where it says meet the models, click the phone you have and then, scroll down to "get to know your smartphone and click on the interactive demos for your phone, a little screen should pop up, scroll over to where it says BlackBerry 6 and i think it should work from there. I haven't tried it yet but i will soon as i get out of work...lol!

All i wanna know is if i do download it and i don't like it ....can i restore it back to the way it was. Because it would kinda suck if it didn't so...proceed with caution!

@akaBIGWORDyaheard thx mayne..yeah before i had my curve 3g 9330 from verizon i had a curve 8520 from t-mobile that was running 4.6 os.i had that phone for bout a yr and was like fck it...i downloaded a 5.0 leak upgrade and it seemed to work..but with this new phone,i dont wanna risk downloading a leak and messing up my warranty

Okay, I have the Sprint Blackberry 9330, go to options, then go to software updates andd it shouldd be all the way at the bottom, then update it, but some Blackberries don't have it, butt when youu upgrade it it will take quite a while, then there youu go, for me I like the os5 better, my battery runs down to quick.

I'm going to get a hardd reset real soon.

I found a website that I was able to download os6 but I have 6.0.0.280 and so far so good it's taking a little to get use to it but it's really easy. I would say a day or two and I will have no problems using it.
