I think Shao Kahn's better than Onaga. To defeat Onaga you just have to fight like a noob, with simple moves, and know how to evade his main moves. But to defeat Shao Kahn you have to do really good combos and use some specials and have great evading skills.

@AbellebA12 At long~medium distance, of course Khan's easy to evade. In short distance kombat, not so much. He's very, very easy to defeat as long as you're not too close from him, but as I like to truly fight, and give him a beatdown (close distance), I don't fight him like a newbie, and then his close attacks/counter attacks can surprise sometimes. Onaga is previsible as hell and even easier to evade, there is no comparison between him and Khan.

Even if you don't like him as much as Shao Kahn, Onaga is still one of the best bosses in the series. I'm hoping he shows up again in a future MK game.

Onaga would have been a lot cooler character if he was in any other game than mortal kombat, as mk already had Shao Kahn as it's big main bad guy. as far as mk goes, Onaga could never be the badass villain that Kahn was/is

I fought Onaga on this game...and he was more powerful than I thought. He's outrageously strong. I used Ermac's telekenetic throw, he didn't budge. I even used Scorpion's "Get over here!" spear, that didn't budge him either. Most definitely, Onaga's a serious threat, especially when fighting him in the highest difficulty level.
