I agree to a certain extent. Yes, he was violent with her some, but if you look at it. He's nicer to her than he was to ANYONE else in the manga. He saved her from the girls for one. And secondly, the comment he made to Ichigo about, if he really cared about saving her, then why wasn't he running the hell away from there. Proving he understood her better the Ichi ever has (imo) BUT it's definately a crack pairing. I think it would be writeable in fanfiction as long as it was well written.

Grimmjow made that statement for various reasons other than the one you're implying. Grimmjow did it mainly to piss the crap outta Ichigo, whether it was because he had fun doing so or he wanted him to be angry and fight at his best. Other than saving Inoue, Grimmjow wanted to prove that the main reason why Ichigo came to Hueco Mundo was to defeat Grimmjow. Thinking that he made that statement to prove he knew Inoue better than Ichigo is false misinterpretation.

Intepretation is all down to each reader. I find Grimmjow's character more complex than that personally. I still respect your opinion. Because differences is what makes the world go round. Honestly I thought Grimm made a more than valid point. To me, it was the truth. Ichigo's blatant misunderstanding was too blatant to be ignored. To accuse Grimm "What did he do to Orohime?" After he made a statement like that was just dumb. To me. But personally I like Grimm/Himme. You don't. It's all good.

I wouldn't consider it being "nicer", it's more like being generous and at the same time getting what you want. For example, he saved her as repayment for healing his arm and also he needed her to heal Ichigo so that he can fight him.

I can't stress enough how there is nothing romantic going on between these two... it's also amusing to see people make up reasons to prove otherwise.

I didn't say I don't ACCEPT the pairing. I am very open-minded about pairings. It's just that I don't ship the GrimmHime pairing, for I have no good reason to, and I don't find it appealing or interesting. Some people ship it just because of their looks, but yeah, it's up to the shippers.

Ha, I doubt Bleach will have a romantic side in the first place...All of the pairings are implied, even IchiRuki and IchiHime, there's been no romance whatsoever (except onesided one maybe).
