The hull is just the bottle.
There is no hull of a "real" boat used for it.
I've built in standard rc-model parts and added a plastic-tube on each side of the bottle (stabilization).

nice idea! this on is way faster than the other bottle boats I´ve seen. What motor do u use, why isn´t there any body roll from torque of motor? I built a bottle boat, too. But whenever I tried to accelerate the bottle started to roll?

Hello Waldsalat,
There is a Speed 480 electric motor built in. I use it with a 7 cell NIMH battery. The torque isn't a problem, since I installed a PVC-tube on each side of the bottle. They are placed at the water line and prevent the boat from rolling. Above all they seem to give the boat a stronger lift out of water. At least it is nearly three times faster than without the assistance of the tubes. Try it on your bottle, it will become much more controllable and faster!
